The signs are said to be like contractions. When more and more great things happen more often, it's a sign. When mor people of different languages are learn about God, it also is a sign. When he's coming doesn't matter, one should always be on there best behavior while waiting on our heavenlt father to send his Son back again through our atmosphere. That will be some noisey day. I believe he should get get here before the end of this millenium. Perhaps the after 2240? I don't know, that's the Jewish date of the end of the world. The mayans say 2012, but I doubt that.

You cannot alter what Jesus said He would do because of the rain - John 14 v1 - 4 - Jesus tells us He will come and take us to be with Him:

There's a lot of storm out there.
If you are looking for Jesus, he's right there in your heart. If you can't find him, he is so deep inside and buried among the trash you accumulated through the years.
If we take out the trash, you'll find He's just right there, waiting for you to call Him. And when you do, then He comes to you.
Jesus comes to us everytime we call Him.

but before he comes there will be a period of world peace followed by destruction and confusion, then the Lord will come and share his Kingdom on earth as in heaven
