I read a few of these comments from an athiest point of veiws, and most of them say that Christians force their beliefs onto them. Well let me be the first one to say I'm sorry if any one feels force in what I believe in.
Every one has a right to believe in what they want to believe, but I believe in Christ some people see it as a fairy tail, but I believe that it is not that far fetch, but if you do then hey then no person has the right to judge you either.

I know....I don't force mine on anybody either and they all think we do....all Christian aren't evangelical like the people on t.v....even I think those people are a little nutty and fake sometimes....Binny Hinn is one of them...I think he likes money more than God but I am not to judge him...anyways the ible says that we can only help people who seek Him...God will only show Himselves to the people who really want to know..like when you have that feeling down deep like there's somethin' missing or there's somethin' more and you just can't pinpoint it...there are people who want nothing to do with God or religion all together ....so in all I really don't get why they think that the majority of the people atheists interact with everyday (Christians) are forcing their beliefs...

I'm a Christian and I will tell you that Christians force their beliefs on other people. Free will is out the door with these people. It's kind of like America, we destroy any country that doesn't believe in living like we do. It's all just a matter of time before we destroy the next country for having different beliefs. So yes, Christians do a horrible job at not turning people off of religion altogether. Which is kinda one of the worst things one can do as a Christian.

We as atheists are constantly harassed and told that we are going to hell and are generally discriminated against by Christians.

I have even been fired from a company right after they found out that I am one of those "evil" atheists. It's not like they would admit this, but I had nothing but shining performance reviews.

One more thing that the Christians do that discriminates against us is to lobby the government to pass laws on morality. What makes Christians think that they have the moral authority to dictate what I can and can't do in the privacy of my own home.

So yes the Christians are forcing their beliefs down the throats of people of all other religions and atheists.

If we as atheists sound hostile, it is because we have to put up with discrimination, harassment and the knock knock holy sht people coming to our doors every day of our lives. It never stops.

Christians and everybody else have the right to believe as they wish. What they do not have is the right to tell everyone else what to believe or to force their values on everybody else. Now will someone please explain this to the current resident of the White House.

By the way, most Atheists that I know view Christians as the triumph of faith over reason.

Well, then, "live and let live". If you wouldn't want atheists speaking to you of their beliefs, then why would we want to listen to others preach, judge and condemn us? Especially when religious people can rarely prove any of their claims.

Just because something is written in a book does not mean that the book is based on facts. Keep an open mind.

OK, I like you. So:

MANY chistians try to force their beliefs onto olthers. MANY don't. MANY do it with a really good meaning, naively, and as such I really don't get angry at them. I have such people within my circle of friends and family.
OTHERS can be outright abusive and inconvenient. They don't deserve my tolerance, as they don't have it themselves.
I try not to judge other people or at least not make uncivil comments. Sometimes it's difficult, because some people don't even reason their beliefs, they babble things out like parrots. It's hard to be kind to such people. I'm not Jesus, Buddha or Gandhi. I have good days and bad days. Sometimes, I just don't care. Let people believe what they want. Just don't nag too much.

Yes, you have a right to believe in what you want but so does everyone else. Trying to convert someone is is basically going against this.

Stop apologising for your faith.....If I told someone they were going to Heaven they would say, oh thank you. And, they would not accuse me of judging them. But, tell that same person that they are a sinner and on their way to Hell well, then I'm judging them. Give me a break. God is who He is and, His Word is true. I just give folks the message.

I'm with you! We Christians, like everyone else, have a right to believe in what we believe in!

Of course they do. They have succeeded in preventing gays from marrying, limiting stem cell research, stigmatizing abortion...all on religious grounds.
I bet if they were allowed they'd force us all to attend church every week.
