Israel is striking what they think are militant targets, the problem is, the Lebanese, as well as Iraqi militants hide among the civilian population, because they know they are safer than not being there, because of the "public outcry" of loss of civilian life.
Another thing, compared to wars in the past, the loss of life in Iraq, and now Lebanon are nothing in comparison. I dont get people, and where they get their expectations from.
Its war..do they think noone will die?!

Can't argue with the statement at all except there are some who are unable to get out. Unfortunately war is hell. Some of these civilians are staying their to help the militants out as well, so I have no pity for them.

Why do so many people not flee from impending hurricanes? There are a lot of reasons ... belief it won't be so bad (alleviates as the situation gets worse) ... lack of money ... lack of an alternative residence or support.
The militants in Lebanon announced recently that they were very shocked at the extent Israel reacted ... so why wouldn't the civilians?
It's an unnecessary war ... civilians shouldn't be the ones dying.

War is the most uncivilized way to get something.If Israel wants the militants then they should attack theough ground.Why are they throwing bombs like this.
And were militants hiding in the UNO building?
Why should people leave their homes.Are they slaves of Israel that whenever they order them to leave Lebanon they should leave.It is the duty of Israel to prevent civilians.

you know...I'm sick of all this war sh*t. WE should just give saddam a billion dollars and tell him we're sorry and then just let him go home and rebuild his country. I mean, maybe he did shitty and terrible things but that happens everywhere! At least what he had over there worked, it may not have been great, but it was better than it is now! I can't wait for my daughter to just grow up so I can have a good relationship with her and then I'll just peacefully make my way up to heaven. They stay because it is their home. Depending on my situation, I may do the same.
Israel should be telling them to force the militants out so they can bomb them in a nice out of the way place.
