I know that all Christians have faith (b/c it's kinda needed), but does anyone here have the spiritual gift of faith? like it comes really easy for you to believe. if anyone feels like answering this and doesn't have that gift, what gifts do you have? much love!

for example did one create the other and both created there own humans in two different ways. OR When it says when Lord God... Is it just giving you more depth to how God created the universe?

Isaiah warns of coming chaos:

24:1 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof. 24:2 And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; ... 24:3 The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken this word. 24:4 The earth mourneth [and] fadeth away, the world languisheth [and] fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish.

Then he says WHY this will happen:

24:5 The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. 24:6 Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, ...

The New Testament advocates all three of these things

Why is it that many quantum physicists are seeing that everything is made up of vibrations and looking to mysticism for explanations? Pick up a book once in a while about where science is at today and educate yourself.

The more I learn, the more I see, and the more I talk, the more I am confused by the way people blindly follow any and all religions. It seems to me that any faith that trivializes the time we spend here on earth by labeling it is as a precursor to an eternity in an afterlife is doing every one of its followers an enormous disservice. Why do people question everything and anything around them and yet blindly follow religions that have no factual existence other than in the pages of books that could have been fabricated by any person at any time for any reason? As an aside, I have plenty of experience with one of these religions, having been confirmed in the catholic church.

my ex is refusing to follow visitation agreement, berating me via email and complaining that i do not want him 2 c the kids because i will not change and let him have them when i am off for the day. i work full time and i value my time with my little ones. he works 12 days a month. please, pray for God to show me when to speak and when to hold my tongue. Especially when there are millions of starving children in Africa. How can these people waste resources to build churches. Think about how much money a church costs in food and how many childrens lives were lost for one church.

Does that mean the heads of the Mormon churches (there are a handful of different sects, each has it's own prophet) are crazy or atheist? The false ones either know they are false, and would go to hell if they believed in it, so they are atheist, or they are crazy and really think they talk to God. I would tend to believe the "mainstream" Mormons are the ones making it up because they change the rules when the government tells them to, and God wouldn't be that flakey.
