homosexuality is a sin, and anyone who says people cant help it are so annoying! if you REALLY think you are gay then just don't date or have relationships! but, God doesn't hate homosexuals anymore than he hates me or you...God loves us all and we are all sinners

Because modern society is hell bent on distroying everything that made this great country what it is today. We are constantly changing our culture to accomodate the few. Don't get me wrong I really could care less if any of you are gay. I just don't think you should get special treatment just because you are. The laws were written by our founding fathers who just happened to be christians and they didn't include special rights for homosexuals. They also didn't make special provisions for people who refuse to learn our language, or refuse to wear uniforms beacause it doesn't match their customs or beliefs. Bottom line this is America we need to stop altering our customs to accomodate everyone else or in the end we will loosing our own identity. If you think you'll get better treatment somewhere else then go, and good luck to you.

People just love questioning,the word 'why' is an integral part of life. People with religious beliefs already have a clear cut stand from their religious texts, hence, their faith overrides their natural sense of curiosity/questioning. But how about people without these beliefs? What are they supposed to base their ethics/morals/beliefs on? It's a tough decision and they need to ask, before they can commit on their stand. So there, I hope I helped. Yes, and I do concur that homosexuality is a sin :)

Why are people so ignorant! LOVE is LOVE in any shape or form! Our society today is very open to people being out and open about being gay. And more and more people are accepting the fact that everyone is different! You should really take a good look around and realize the world is not what it was when GOD created it.

Earlier today, someone PMed me and said that Leviticus' prohibition against homosexual acts wasn't really speaking about homosexuality. He said that "they didn't really know what homosexuality was back then."
And I was like, if "don't lie with a man as with a woman" isn't referring to homosexual acts, then what is it referring to -- playing golf on Sundays?
The desperate lengths to which some people will twist and deny the Bible's clear-cut teachings on this particular behavior -- it's unbelievable.

I can leave it at that for you, but then the question becomes: There has never, nor will there ever be, proof that heaven or hell exist, so why should I care what your oppressive and deceitful religion labels a "sin" when it brings so much love into this world?

Could you please refer me to which of the ten commandments to which you refer to in determining this? How about tell me how it violates the two big ones that Jesus gave, Love God and Love you neighbor as yourself? If you're referring to Leviticus, Jesus fulfilled that promise, so those laws no longer apply, or so I've been informed by loving Christians. So if it can't be found anywhere except in a defunct book of laws, how can you say it's a sin?

i honestly thought these attitudes were gone.
what could possibly possess you to stick your nose into someone elses bedroom and cast judgment?
seriously. homosexuality exists because of love.
it amazes me that you find this so evil.
the gay members of my family have so much good in their souls. they attend church, they contribute to the community, they dont spread hate and at night time they hold their same sex partner, they make love to their same sex partner, they tell them they love them and they go to sleep.
where is the evil ? where is the problem?
jesus was a man of the meek, of the persecuted and of those whom no one else would accept.
