Religion is a personal choice and the method in which you worship is also personal. The relationship between the worshiper and their God is a personal one and I believe it to be as personal as the relationship between a husband and a wife. The decision to search for a religion that works with ones lifestyle and beliefs or enriches a person's life in some way, is a journey that only the person on that path can fully realize. I think once they find what they are seeking it can be a humbling experience.

I think you have to look inside yourself. What do you need from a religion? Do you want to believe in something after death? Do you want to believe in simply living a good life? Do you want to follow a book? I believe religion is what you make of it. You shouldn't need to adhere to strict rules or be in a certain place. Why would God allow so many religions if only one were right? Faith is more important than religion. To have faith in something makes life have a point. Just to believe something or someone is greater than all of these material things makes you feel less alone and life more worthwhile.

I truly believe if you pray for wisdom and insight with a pure and honest heart you will be led into the right answer. If it is learned from any souce other than the Holy Spirit it is too easily forgotten. Others can offer you opportunities to learn but only He can bring you to the truth. Just talk to God. If you are honest with him He will reveal himself to you. In stages and at whatever point you are ready but He will continue to teach you and pick you up when you fail. God bless you real good! Just know this for sure: you are not God and on your own you will not ever feel fulfilled or peaceful.

You find what you need and your choice should matter to you only. Your spirituality is your choice and your belief. Jesus and Mohammad are obviously not the only choices. If Jesus's father is going to let only certain souls into heaven then I personally don't follow that.
My brother died of cancer and was never much of a church goer but when the end was near he chose to confess all his sins so he could make himself ready in the eyes of Jesus. I stood by him to let him decide what was right in his heart and soul.
Hope you find what you need :)

Most humans are aware of a spiritual need whether they care to admit it or not. Even so called agnostic and atheists; why else would they be so active in trying to change people.
Take some time to pray to God and ask for some direction and if you true to yourself it will find you....

Religion is the best business idea ever conceived by man: no machinery, no product, almost no manpower and yet sure money, lotsa money! Come to the Philippines and see how they do the tricks here and how ignorant Filipinos are.

Well... I would start with a simple book written by a former atheist professor. "More than a Carpenter" by Josh McDowell.
It matters... you need to study and learn why as I have. Take care. Jonathan

No it doesn't. The importance in life is having faith that there is greater then men. I think that if you don't have faith in a higher power you are doomed. For instance, I know that with out god in my life I am nothing.
