I have the gift of critical thinking, which makes it easy for me to accurately view reality. Faith is a delusion, if reality was based on faith oh what a happy world this would be. Unfortunately this is not the case.

I have the gift of reason. It works in the opposite way as your gift of faith. People with the gift of reason tend to create things for people of faith to believe in... :)

Lucky me! I not only have the gift of faith, but the Holy Spirit gave me a bonus, the gifts of understanding and of teaching.

They say that God chooses who gets what and while that's true, it looks to me that for the gift of faith He chooses EVERYBODY. It's just that some don't seem to want what He's offering, so they say, "No."

All who believe have the gift of faith. It is written that it is a gift lest any man should boast.

I do , but you have to realize, it is only when the Holy Spirit comes upon you does this power gift work. it is not the person themselves that control or work it . God uses me more in the healing / miracle end of the spectrum but if the situation called for it I am sure he would use me there also.

Gee, there are particular some unusual strategies floating around right here. i've got been an enthusiastic "Mormon" with the aid of fact i exchange right into a sophomore in college, and that i in my view wouldn’t recognize my faith in lots of the solutions I’ve study so a techniques. What non secular presents do contributors of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints journey? nicely, all of ‘em, i think. Mormons aren’t incredibly area of the Catholic or Protestant branches of Christianity. We have self assurance the unique gospel of Jesus Christ exchange into restored to the earth, beginning up in 1830. As area of that restoration, the comparable capability and authority given to Peter and the unique apostles exchange into restored, inclusive of the non secular presents Christ gave them. of direction, we don’t have self assurance in in seek of for signs and indications, and don’t placed on reflects of such issues to fulfill the curious. despite if, I’m forced to admit that I’ve seen the capability of God happen many cases in my lifetime, from the healing of the sick to the present of tongues and the translation of tongues – which jogs my memory of a Mormon humorous tale approximately studying Finnish, an quite perplexing language. It is going like this: Who can learn Finnish? 2 communities – babies and Mormon missionaries.

I have faith, but maybe not as deep and rooted as it could be. I do have the gift of service and tongues.

I actually had a much harder time believing in the Creator when I was going to church because I had a hard time accepting the narrow portrayal.

Now I just know the Creator exists. I never doubt, ever. It's pretty amazing actually :)
