Qualification: The religion must be atleast 1000 years old.

Dont say its christianity as there are more than 22 scietific errors alone in 1 book.

I am in search of new religion other than christianity so please recommend me one which have no scientific errors in its teachings and is complete!

Proverbs 10: 4 - Lazy hands make a man poor, but diligent hands bring wealth.

Proverbs 12:24 - Diligent hands will rule, but laziness ends in slave labor.

Proverbs 21: 5 - The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty.

Proverbs 13:4 - The sluggard craves and gets nothing, but the desires of the diligent are fully satisfied.

I've been looking at bible sayings about money and thrift and work, etc. What do you think of these verses?

Do you truly feel that our Savior wants this dissension and arguing going on between us? The Jesus I believe in did not preach this. Why can we not learn to respect each other and agree to disagree on many minor points?

It will not happen. If the world has been around as long as science wants us to think it has, then monkeys would have evolved by now. Visit www.khouse.org and check out downloads regarding evolution.

Is this how Christians and other theists perceive evolution? If so I can see now why they don't believe it. They have misconstrued it so badly that it has 'evolved' into a completely new theory. LOL.

Seriously though, what kind of work can these people do with such a complete lack of formal education?

Wonderful life." By saving his brother's life he saved all the men on that ship that his brother was on. I am a teacher and I always wonder what impact I have on those I teach. My wife is a bank manager and I am sure the decisions he makes profoundly affects the lives of others.

Not does religion do good or bad, because most would agree it does both. Overall, would you say it's impact on humanity has been more positive or more negative?

Let's look at how we were probably created:
If you do not believe that God 'poofed' us into existence, than you know that all our energy here on earth comes primarily from the sun. It has provided the means for activity to occur here. To this very day, it provides almost all the energy that life uses on Earth to survive. So, is that the closest thing to God that we actually quantify?

They say metals pieces fell that way, if it's to be taken seriously, couldn't that be taken as a sign of evil leaving their trademark?
And a cross isn't a complicated symobol, it's only two lines crossing each other. If it was a jewish star then I'd say "wow!", but two lines crossing each other isn't unlikely.

i have friend that is married and her husband stays away from home alot due to his job. she started talkin to one of his friend on the phone, he's married also, and stays in another town. Well the conversations got deep and he planned a trip to come and visit her. they slept together and he was on his way back home, about an hour and a half away, and he had a car accident about 35-40 minutes after sleeping with my friend. he didn't survive and his family had no clue that he went to visit his friend's wife. She went to the funeral and hugged his wife and mother and alot of others. she feels that she is the blame for him not being alive. but his mother is still asking questions about why he was in her area that late and why he was on the road? she wants answers and my friend has them but doesn't want to tell her. is she doing the right thing by not telling her or should she tell her and suffer the conceqeunces? I can't think of any good advice for her except pray and repent of her sins

Why do others not condemn them like they do with homosexuals and thieves? In 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 (yes in the King James version), Paul offers a list of sins that would keep a person out of Heaven. Among those listed are theft, homosexuality, and adultery. However, it seems that only thieves and homosexuals are condemned out of the three. In Luke 16:18, Christ defined a man or woman who has divorced and remarried as also being an adulterer. So shouldn't remarried people be condemned as well? Why are homosexuals and thieves the only ones getting picked on by Christians?

I posted a question about why people do not believe in women preachers and they all cited 1Timothy. How do you explain this or reconcile this with allowing or being a female preacher? I like very much having a female pastor and now I am confused about (A.) Whether it is actually right? (B.) If I want to be a part of something that puts women in such a submissive role?
