I read some of these questions and answers in this category and cringe at the blasphemy stated by people. No respect for Christ. One day we will answer for these things and I would hate to be the one answering for all this ridiculous degradation to God and his son. EVERY knee shall bow...maybe sooner than we expect (Be watching Israel)....and consider the consequences of your ignorance.

What do you rely on to make the important decisions in life...? Bible, inward witness, circumstances, common sense, counsel... What is meant by "leading"- what does it feel like, where does it occur (some say in the belly), is it a voice, a feeling...? Does God lead in the small affairs of life...? How can you distinguish it isn't your own feeling, or even a "wrong" spirit? What about circumstances- is that controlled by God or Satan or both (how do you tell who is doing it...)? Serious answers only please...

could that be that the same God that blessed all the people who believe in Jesus Christ is calling us infidels because we believe in Jesus Christ our Lord as God appearing in the flesh

isn`t that silly ?

The Table - Sora 5:[chapter 17] In blasphemy indeed are those that say that Allah(God) is Al-Masih(Christ) the son of Maryam (Mary)

the truth is that Allah is not The Jews And Christians God
for the simple fact that God never contradicts his words

If you read the Quran (Islamic holy book, compiled in 600 AD and never altered), there is a detailed description of "The Water Cycle", "The growth of a baby from Sac to Full form", "Description that the earth and moon and planets spin on their own axis" (not known until 1800's, "Detailed description of how milk is formed", "Clearly stated all life is aquatic" etc etc..
And not just the Quran, such stories are in the Holy Bible also.

Please if you have a point reply, insults are not required here, intellect and debate are

1. A rabid atheist who is tolerant of all people, is kind to everyone unless they show intolerance and unkindness. Who is generous and helps out others.

2. A good christian. But, is homophobic but is nice to them anyway. Doesn't try and convert anyone, but will damn people to hell if they speak against his god. Believes he has done all his good deeds by giving money to the church

3. A literal interpreter of the bible. Wants to abolish homosexuality, wants to incarcerate women who have abortions, preaches his/her faith, demands huge tithe be paid to the church.

By the way these are real people.

1. Me. Average american teacher

2. My wife.

3. Most Catholic Priests. Who are insanely rich from the "generosity of others"

1. A man that loves jesus and lets him into his heart. But for 99% of his life murdered, killed, raped, practiced homosexuality, and was over all bad. But at the end of his life confessed.

Or

2. A man who did not believe in god. He did, feed the homeless, give to charities, went on humanitarian missions, loved his fellow man, and was an overall great human being all of his life.

How important to god would belief in him be. Would he not want good people in heaven, to reward good people. The other man lived a life of evil. The second man lived what would be a good christian life, with a few exeptions. Is worship all that matters? If he would not let man number two into heaven, hell must be a nice place if it has people like that.

I have a high sex drive, I wish I didn't... but it's like I can't help but do things even though I'm not married. I'm sorry when I pray, but then the next time... it's just like, I seriously can't help it. I don't know what to do, and I hope God understands. Is there any advice out there?

This has often confused me, and I have received conflicting answers.

Are there already souls in heaven and hell (and purgatory, being prepared for heaven)?

Or are all those who have died lying silently in their graves awaiting the return of Jesus and the Last Judgment?

Or, at death, does the spirit return to God and then later - on Judgment Day - will be reunited with the body.

After all, the Church forbade the "descration of bodies", which limited medical experiments well into the modern era, because they were necessary later on. What need is there for a body if the spirit has already ascended to heaven or descended to hell?

Or are their different stages of judgment? One immediately at death, and one later on, whenever Jesus returns?

mislead? Jesus said " 21"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' 23Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers" Belief in Jesus is not enough for Salvation!

the bible says in genesis that the ark (converted from cubits to feet) was approximately fifty feet tall, eighty feet wide, and five hundred feet long. Also, if seven of some animals (such as cattle or foul) were brought onto the ark, and only two of others, how do we account for the theory that dinosaurs were also on the ark? How did they all fit? How did Noah get foreign animals to "come to him" as it says in the bible (if they came, how did they cross oceans)... such as pandas, kangaroos, possums, etc. ALso, what about the inbreeding? THe animals (AND the humans) would be massively retarded and their genetic chains would weaken considerably. How can we go from eight humans to 5.7 BILLION people in less than 6,000 years?

Or are you sure that theists are wrong..?
Or don't you worry because even if the religions are true, you won't be punished given the fact that there is no definite proof of God's existence and because you already live a decent life and you think that's the only important thing..?

If evil cannot exist in the presence of God and God is omnipresent then evil cannot exist.
Or if evil exists, then God does not exist.
So either :
1. There is no evil, or
2. There is no omnipresent God

which is it?
