They say the bible was warped and Christians misinterpreted the words of Jesus, though he is still a prophet.

The conflict is your understanding. You veiw God as Jesus. Now that is a major sin in Islam which cannot be forgiven. It excludes you from being from the "people of the Book". The "people of the book" are christians and Jews who worshipped the God of Moses, David , Joseph, Abraham,.. Jesus (pbut) and did do not associate in worship anyone or anything but him. That is the God Muslims refer to as also the same God of the Jews and Christians. The God all these Prophets use to prostrate to and pray to, and recieve guidence from. That wasn't Jesus (pbuh). As he was a messenger from God who came to preach the oneness of God (just like all previous Prophets did) to the Jews who have strayed from this message. It was the same message Mohammed (pbuh) preached too, and was the last to humanity from God.
The blessings are to those Christians who believed in the oneness of God and accepted Jesus (pbuh) as a messenger, as many did and still do.

I'm not muslim but...
I think that muslims allow God to contradict his words. And that moses was a prophit, the old testiment prophits were prophits and Jesus was a prophet. The thing is that all those prophets got it wrong somehow and the mohamed got it right. To a muslim, each prophet 'clarifies' what the previous prophets didn't get right. In other words, they allow God to contradict himself.
Then again, I'm just an outside observer looking in upon the madness.

The claims of Muslims and Christians are unsupportable Both the Bible and the Qur'an have errors; it immediately follows that neither can be the word of God. It can be shown that the question of the existence or non-existence of god yields no consequences for human activity, so believing in god is a waste of time.

It's simple. They believe that God - the one and only for all according to Islam - never Himself claimed that Him and the Son are one. They believe that Christians distorted God's words. They came after Christianity so they can make that claim without Christ being there to testify..

The God of Daniel speaks in parable (or metaphor). The interpretation can be learned as Daniel and Joseph learned how to interpret scripture which is the same as interpreting dreams and visions.
Christians are dealing with inspired scripture written in symbols that correspond to spiritual ideas. If you learn the law of correspondences you will be better off personally and not question so much.

"The more a man knows, the more he forgives." I'm sorry, I don't recall who said that, but look at it this way -- we have no right imposing our own beliefs and religions on others....we grow up learning and coming to believe a particular religion; God knows that, and will not hold it against people if they aren't a particular religion -
Muslim, Catholic, Lutheran, or honestly even Jewish...we only know what we were taught to know -- we haven't met God or Jesus yet, so we don't have the "word up" on Who they are. If you truly believe, with all of your heart, that your religion is right, God will take that into consideration on Judgement Day.

Quran says: If you do not believe in Jesus son of Mary, you won't be let into heavens.
There are lots of misinterpretations about religions and lack of knowledge is like trying to find your way in the dark. You'll get lost eventually.

The "one god", is the One God. (i.e. if there is only God, then God is god - there is no "other" so all who believe in the one God believe in God)
They say Jesus it merely a prophet, not the Christ.
That's where they differ.
And yes, it's silly how everyone gets so upset that we all don't believe exactly the same things and worship the same way.

Phooey to all the arguing. Unless one chooses to believe that there is a different Creator for those of different religions ( lol).it stands to reason that we ALL came from the identical creative source or force, which we in fact did. We're ALL God's or whatever you want to call the Maker's kids, and WE ALL have a right to be here. Period-end! And who says God is a "he"? We don't know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
