1. A rabid atheist who is tolerant of all people, is kind to everyone unless they show intolerance and unkindness. Who is generous and helps out others.

2. A good christian. But, is homophobic but is nice to them anyway. Doesn't try and convert anyone, but will damn people to hell if they speak against his god. Believes he has done all his good deeds by giving money to the church

3. A literal interpreter of the bible. Wants to abolish homosexuality, wants to incarcerate women who have abortions, preaches his/her faith, demands huge tithe be paid to the church.

By the way these are real people.

Well, now don't we have the very opinionated question. Given the three choices, I would choose....4. None of the above. For instance...

1. Doesn't believe in God and therefore doesn't deserve to be in His presence.

2. By damning anyone to hell if they speak against their god goes against christian principles. God and Jesus will be the ones judging, not the christian. The apostle James stated that faith without works is dead, however the "works" should be in all parts of our life, not just throwing money at your church.

3. Catholic priests are about the farthest thing from a literal interpreter of the bible. If anything, they are the literal interpreter of man's traditions.

None of the above. I would want to see the person who is a professed Christian, who does not condemn a person but their actions and who does not judge. The Bible is clear that we will be judged by the same measuring stick with which we judge, so people should do their best not to judge anyone. The choices people make are their own and it is not our place to judge them - only love them despite it all.
