1. A man that loves jesus and lets him into his heart. But for 99% of his life murdered, killed, raped, practiced homosexuality, and was over all bad. But at the end of his life confessed.

Or

2. A man who did not believe in god. He did, feed the homeless, give to charities, went on humanitarian missions, loved his fellow man, and was an overall great human being all of his life.

How important to god would belief in him be. Would he not want good people in heaven, to reward good people. The other man lived a life of evil. The second man lived what would be a good christian life, with a few exeptions. Is worship all that matters? If he would not let man number two into heaven, hell must be a nice place if it has people like that.

So your actions mean nothing in this life, as long as you conver before you die?

This sounds like christianity would not make good people.

I'm always replused by those who think that torturing people endlessly for all time for not believing what they do is in any way acceptable. They make their god sound like one sick f***

The first man.
God lets whoever asks Jesus into their heart into heaven, even if they do a lot of bad stuff.
Hell isn't a nice place. The second man was a good person but not a believer in Christ. Not all people who aren't Christians are of the devil, some are very good. But they don't ask Jesus into their heart. Once someone does then their name is in the book of life and can't be erased no matter how many things they do.

God will let anyone who believes that His Son, Jesus, died, was buried and rose again paying the price for their sins.
God is not willing that any should perish. A truly repentant man will turn from his sin when saved.
The Bible is clear "whosoever believes in Jesus will be saved".
Hell is an awful place where a person will be in darkness, seperated from God and will burn day and night in the fire that does not consume. Hell is not going to be a nice place.
Sin is sin in God's eyes. One sin is not any different degree wise than another. One sin whether big or little is wrong and we can't pay for it on our own.
Your arguement is an excuse for why you won't accept. A sinful man who has done wrong can be saved in only one way. And if he will not accept that way then he will face judgement.

That is a cleverly phrased scenario.

Heaven is achieved through deed, not creed.
-- Emanuel Swedenborg

The Light Of The God Force which many Near Death Experiencers have reported seeing "at the end of the tunnel," is nonliving, infinite, and governed by Universal Law which cannot be changed.

The Light does not care what god icon we worshipped in our body. All it cares about is how or if we cared (i.e., our ability to love genuinely and deeply) and by our application of The Golden Rule.

The first person, from his many sadistic acts, like rape, against innocents (more so than his homosexuality), greatly damaged his god spark and would not be able to ascend into The Light to a spiritual place. He would have to strive to amend his karmic debts and be of service to others. Until then, he would be forced through his actions to reside in hellish dimensions within the Lower Realms of Spirit.

The second person, from his many acts of selflessness and charity, has strengthened his god spark and thereby will be able to ascend into The Light to a spiritual place, at least in the Mid Realms of Spirit - where the many Cities of Light are located.

Love is all that matters.

Lip service is meaningless in The Light. It only comes into play if you are joining - or are already a part of - a Group Entity.

The bible says that noone is righteous, even those who do many good things.

Isaiah 53:6
We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

The good part is the second part. Read in Isaiah 53 and you will see that the person who took our iniquities was Christ. All of us need his forgiveness and healing. This doen't mean that God will not discipline or judge those who sin.

2 Timothy 4:1
In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, ......:

I wonder if someone who does all of those terrible things actually has faith in God.

James 2:26
As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.

I think will see a loving God, who we can trust, do what is just.

Well, I would say that the second man is more likely to make it into heaven. After all the first man broke some of the 10 commandments and possibly committed one or some of the deadly sins in the proccess.

Well God loves them both. But the first one would be welcomed in heaven... because it's not good works that get you into heave but it's having faith, knowing, and believing that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and that he rose again. Even though the second man did good deeds if he does not believe and profess that Jesus is God then he will not be welcomed in the kingdom of God.

Apparently, judging by what the christians say it doesn't matter what you do as long as you believe jesus was the son of god. You could be a horrible person and still go to heaven by their standards. **** could you imagine what type of people that are there. If heaven is real. I don't really want to be there amoung all of those rapist's pedophiles, murders and such. Nope count me out.

Salvation is a gift of God lest any man should boast. It is not our works that make us children of God and worthy of heaven. Without Jesus there is no heaven for a person. It is Jesus works that imparts salvation.

It is written that our good works are as filthy rags before a soverign God.

This is a question for God. None of us are in any position to judge anyone else. God is the only true judge and any answer I give would be speculation anyway. We have no way of proving if it is correct. The best answer in this instance is chosen based on bias or opinion and not fact.
