I am a Christian so I will attempt to intellectualize your answer to the best of my ability. When God said come let us create man in our image. This is the question that needs answered here. With all of the conflicting scientific facts, that do not co-incide with each other, are out there we as rational human beings are asked to choose. We are asked to choose between a living God or nothing. I have read on here that Chrisitans are stupid, idiots and nothing. In all of my stupidity, idocy and my nothingness I say that if science has tried to recreate life in a controlled environment but has not succeeded, where does that let us. If science says that Darwin's theory of evolution is wrong, again where does that let us. If the theory of genetics is a study of an existing thing not a non-existing thing where does that let us. Science has also said you need to look in the direction of religion to see where you originated from, but they have told us in the past this is wrong, where does that let us. They disagree on their own theories and terms, where does that let us. It was to be a proven that people evolved from monkeys but with genetic coding they find this to be wrong, where does that let us. Even with the manipulation of genetic coding a cockroach is still a cockroach and a fruit fly is still a fruit fly, where does that let us. Intellectualizing the birth of humanity apparently leaves us nowhere. So we have choices to make, simply believe something as simplistic as creationalism and God or choose whatever we want. People to this day seek proof, so did the Jewish people seek a sign when Jesus walked on this earth.

Not all people who claim to be " Christians" are. Some of the answers given are not from the Bible and are not fact but opinion.
If you want proof of God's existence look at all that He created. There had to be someone more intelligent then ourselves that created all those stars etc. The Bible says that all creation bears witness of God's handiwork and none will be without excuse.
We, who are Christians" must bear witness and allow the Holy Spirit to convict a heart that the things that God said are true.

What kind of drugs did you smoke? This is the ONLY argument I hear. I believe in god because the bible (thus my opressor/priest) tell me so.

I wrote a book about a frog who could talk. Does that make it true?
