I found a website a couple of months back about a so called Christian science museum opening up in Kansas, or maybe Kentucky... I don't know, I lost the link.

Anyway, the website said that the exibits would teach things like:

A T-Rex chased Adam and Eve from Eden.
Humans and dinosaurs not only lived during the same time period, but were friends.
Noah's flood is what caused the Grand Canyon.

I find this utterly rediculous. Are there people who actually believe this stuff?

Anyone who could provide a link would be most helpfull as well!

Muslims call me an infidel because I am not a Muslim. Christians call me an infidel because I am not a Christian. So, who is right?

If not, how can freewill exist? We mimic what we see from birth, but we have no control over what we see. You can tell right from wrong, but what of people who are ignorant of the consequences? And we can't blame one another for being ignorant because simply put: any man will be a better man under better circumstances. So how can there be a justification for eternal damnation?

A friend of one of my brother's sang "Danny Boy" at my Dad's funeral.
Myself, I want "Be Happy, Don't Worry"--unless Christ comes before that, of course.

Christians seem to think it's okay to ignore the old Jewish rules because Jesus came along and died on a post. Bill Nye the Science Guy has much better tricks than Jesus. I bet He could turn water into wine, walk on water and do hundreds of things Jesus couldn't. Isn't it time to ignore the old Christian rules as they are every bit as ridiculous and outdated as the Jewish ones were?

Since Jesus celebrated and followed Jewish ways(old testment),shouldn't those of us who consider ourselves "christian" or catholic, have respect and honor these traditions because of Him and the His mother, Mary,( who was also Jewish).

Why should I look into a book, that was written by human beings, to guide me in my life? How do I know the whole thing isn't made up? What makes the bible truth? When did God come and say "read the bible, live it, and you will be saved"?

Usually racist white europeans painted pictures of angels and other persons to be white just so they can get closer to God. They always have a vision of angels being white and wings and flowing blond hair. But in the bible it says depending on the angel they have eye balls covering their backs, 4 wings, 4 faces : lion, man, bird, something else i forget. How do you think angels look like...intelligent answers please, dont ask where i got this since i just told you and no people who try to sound smart and say 'sorry to break it to you' but angels dont exist; if you think that then dont answer the question.

The impression that I've gotten is that Christianity deems sex sinfull unless it is done in the confines of marriage and unless it produces a child.

Does that mean that Christians can't have sex for fun, even if it is with their spouse?

Can Christians not use any birth control, even condoms?

Are Christians supposed to not want sex at all?

Christians allowed to "experament" with sex acts and kinks?

Is oral sex a sin?

What about bondage?

If people are psychic and can learn to be psychic, what knowledge is hidden from us? If we can travel out of body and try to relate our experiences via symbols and myth, wouldn't we be considered omnipotent?

The chances that all the laws of quantum physics (strong/weak nuclear forces, gravity, electro magnetism, etc), should be in the right quantities to allow the formation of Stars/planets/matter are so phenomally small that it really should be nigh impossible if the Universe was a "one off".

So with this in mind (also taking into consideration the uncertainty principle). Is it easier for rational minded people to belive in the possibility of endless parrellel universes - or a creator?

As an agnostic, I as always am sitting on my fence.

Also why is their no bloody spell checker for this bit?

I just get so frustrated because everyone thinks islam is bad for women. it is the exact opposite. also people assume muslims are all arab. that is also far from the truth. you can't see a person on tv doing something crazy and because he is muslim think all muslims are that way any more than you can see a child molester on tv from america an assume all christians are child molesters. wouldnt that be stupid. but people dont think like that when it comes to islam it is really unfair. all the time people spend on line why not type 'islam' and take 15 minutes to read just a little just for information purposes. dont take someones word for anything. get your own opinion. is that so wrong?

concern itself with mickey mouse stuff like not eating certain kinds of seafood, who married who's sister and how Methusalah was the oldest fart ever? Does eating shrimp make your soul stinky? Does Jesus kill people before they get to Methusalah's age so Heaven doesn't get that fragrant nursing home smell?
