befor god sent Muhammed( god bless him) people was trate with each other very bad, they was killing any one, and there was no love and caring. no respect for humanity.
then god send Muhammed ( god bless him) for us, to teach us love, he told we should respect all creatures, help poor people, respect our parents, he said we shouldent break hurts, we shouldnt annoy some one.
he teach us to be good.
he teach us to be honest.
he teach us to love all creatures.
he teach us to dont hurt some one.

"Because he said so." He also said that he was the LAST messenger. Wow, what an ego! "Believe it or else!" Apparently, God will punish you harshly if you don't believe everything Mohammad says, but he'll give you slave boys, virgins, and rivers of wine if you do. Muslims refute the Bible because it contains "errors", yet they arrogantly insist the Qur'an is 100% factual, irrefutable, and infallible.

For example, look at the "answer" from Deepest-Blue. That has to be the longest answer I've ever seen...yet it doesn't answer the question. Nice technique: lull people into a hypnotic state with verbosity and a deluge of known facts, then throw in half-truths, distortions, bogus claims, and the fundamentals of their religious beliefs. Voila! A potential "convert"! They do this because they are taught they will be given special favors in heaven for spreading Islam...by ANY MEANS.

All the "scientific miracles" in the Qur'an are actually pseudoscience. I've researched them thoroughly because I found it intriguing, but I was VERY VERY disappointed to see that NONE of their claims are credible. It's called "blinding people with science", and the Qur'an actually CONTRADICTS many scientific facts that almost every high school kid knows. This is why I know Islam is NOT everything it's followers say it is.
Conclusion: Islam is flawed, and therefore cannot be the "perfection" of Judaism and Christianity, as Muslims claim.

Peace!

I am not a muslim but I do believe in the teachings of prophets in the faith that I now follow. I opened my mind and heart and asked God to give me a sign, either in a dream or vision or some other way and he did. Then I looked up the teachings on the net and found the words I felt were the truth. That is my advice to you. Hope you find what you are looking for soon.
God bless you

first of all, mohammad (peace be upon him ) did not teach any from his own . He was a mere messenger from God, so all his doings is not credited to him but to God. This applies to all the prophets or messengers sent by God before Mohammad ( peace be upon him ).
In islam, although there is a teaching of love and forgiveness, it is not considered the greatest commandment, but rather UNITY.Logic is unity have more force than love. It is taught by some religion that you should love others as you love yourself. But how can you love truly if you don't get along well, UNITED in many aspects. How can one love God if one does not go along with His teachings.
With unity, even if there was no love from the start, it will eventually grow and be expansive.. But with love as a start, but there is no unity witnin, it will eventually diminish and get lost.

As a Muslim, my job is not to convince people but to actually show them the meanings and teachings of Islam.

The answer to your question is so long that if I tried to answer it, you will simply skip the whole answer but what I can offer you is, you ask me any question regarding any issue or situation and I will give you the Islamic point of view.

My contact information can be found in my profile.

The way to posed the question, I am pretty sure that you are in no mood to be convinced about Islam but to see if any of us "moon God" lovers can answer your question.
But I could be wrong.

Also if you can tell me your faith, I might be able to give you references from your holy scriptures to prove Muhammed is the messenger of God.

Michael C u mentioned one verse without mentioning the other vesrses before it:
9:1: (This is a declaration of) immunity by Allah and His Messenger towards those of the idolaters with whom you made an agreement.
9:2: Travel freely in the land four months, and know that ye cannot escape Allah and that Allah will confound the disbelievers (in His Guidance).
9:3: And a proclamation from Allah and His messenger to all men on the day of the Greater Pilgrimage that Allah is free from obligation to the idolaters, and (so is) His messenger. So, if ye repent, it will be better for you; but if ye are averse, then know that ye cannot escape Allah. Give tidings (O Muhammad) of a painful doom to those who disbelieve,
9:4: Excepting those of the idolaters with whom ye (Muslims) have a treaty, and who have since abated nothing of your right nor have supported anyone against you. (As for these), fulfil their treaty to them till their term. Lo! Allah loveth those who keep their duty (unto Him).
9: 5: Then, when the sacred months have passed, slay the idolaters wherever ye find them, and take them (captive), and besiege them, and prepare for them each ambush. But if they repent and establish worship and pay the poor-due, then leave their way free. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
9:6: And if anyone of the idolaters seeketh thy protection (O Muhammad), then protect him so that he may hear the Word of Allah, and afterward convey him to his place of safety. That is because they are a folk who know not.
9:7: How can there be a treaty with Allah and with His messenger for the idolaters save those with whom ye made a treaty at the Inviolable Place of Worship? So long as they are true to you, be true to them. Lo! Allah loveth those who keep their duty.
plz dont try to use Quran against us, it's too powerful for u to try to disprove islam with it
read it whole and u'll understand and open ur heart

There is no God but Allah.
Islam means peace by submission and obedience to the Will and Commandments of God and those who accept Islam are called Muslims, meaning those who have accepted the message of peace by submission to one true God.

You couldn't follow the example of how mo hammed lived.
He was a slaver, war leader, rapist, thief and a illiterate murderer who married and lived with a nine year old wife.
This is enough reason not to follow the paedophile fake.
