I found a website a couple of months back about a so called Christian science museum opening up in Kansas, or maybe Kentucky... I don't know, I lost the link.

Anyway, the website said that the exibits would teach things like:

A T-Rex chased Adam and Eve from Eden.
Humans and dinosaurs not only lived during the same time period, but were friends.
Noah's flood is what caused the Grand Canyon.

I find this utterly rediculous. Are there people who actually believe this stuff?

Anyone who could provide a link would be most helpfull as well!

This is a copy of the original article, which describes the park, which, unfortunatly is in my state of Kentucky. And yes, there are idiots who actually believe the Earth is only 5000 years old, and that mankind lived with the dinosaurs. Which probably means to them that the Flintstones is a documentary of how we used to live. Utter idiots.

I dont believe that the T Rex chased Adam and Eve from the garden.... it is possible that humans existed along with dinosaurs, this museum isnt the only place that has made such a claim, you could do a websearch on more information. And why couldnt The Flood cause the Grand Canyon? The Bible does say the ground opened up and water sprung out from it.

I've heard the .. er.. claims that humans and dinosaurs lived in the same time period and interacted, that supposedly people in South America tamed pterodactyls and used them to fly, therefore making them able to create the Nazca lines... but I don't believe it either.

If "a T-Rex chased Adam & Eve from Eden" ... that would make the next statement "Humans and dinosaurs... were friends." contradictory, right? Who comes up with this stuff?

Try answersingenesis.org. Their museum will not have anything that is not factual. The part about T-Rex chasing Adam is not true.
The evidence about dinosaurs and humans together and the grand canyon is overwhelming-scientifically.

If people can "just believe" that there is an invisible thing in the universe that wished everything into existence (without leaving evidence of it's own existence), then they can "just believe" anything. The Bible, a book of beliefs written by people of faith, is only evidence of peoples capacity for make believe.

I have lived a long time and you'll be amazed at some of the things people believe in ---
Lots of people believe Elvis isn't dead - there are people who are still waiting for Houdini to come back from the dead --

I think it's hilarious. We have awesome science and natural history museums, and they have creepy indoctrination factories with poorly animated dinosaurs chasing naked humans with conveniently placed leaves.

I agree with you. But unfortunately, there might be people which believe that. Starting by the website owners...
