Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress.

The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy."

Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing.

Many Christians struggle over whether or not it is sinful to perform Reiki. However, some people have done research and sought guidance through prayer to decide. I encourage you to read the follow article and post your answers:

My friend has an abusive mother she is 19 years old, her mum is hiv+. She decided to have a test on a clinic, but now terrified that the nurse infected her http://www.blink.org.uk/print.asp?key=7773 <--i did some info and found some disturbing news. The thing i have no idea what to say to her she recently asked me what if i am hiv+ i havent had sex, no drugs, no kiss nothing what am i going to do ?

How do I tell my semi-religious Christian parents, family, and friends I want to become Wiccan. I just didn't believe in Christ. So I searched for another religion and found Wicca. When I'm initiated to stage 1,is the power of energy flow weaker than the one in those who are stage 2?
Second question,does level one enable you to heal yourself and the others and regulate the chakras or is it just an introduction to the Reiki energy which is not so effective?
Question three,does the intensity of the energy that flows (or let's say being a channel to the energy) improves and gets bigger as you practise?Does it grow as you practise more?
