Islamic history tells that prophet Muhammed killed a WHOLE Jewish tribe (Banu Korayza) on allegations they were trying to aid his enemies (Pagan Koraysh). The history also tells that prophet Muhammed kicked out another tribe (banu Nadir) on allegations they were TRYING to assissinate him. On the other hand, when prophet Muhammed concuered Mecca and defeated his real enemies (pagan Koraysh), he forgived them despite all the wars they declared on him .

I am a little confused, how come prophet Muhammed kill a whole tribe on allegations they were trying to aid his enemies and he later forgives his enemies themselves? If he had the intention to forgive his enemies, why did not he also forgive people who (allegedly) aided his enemies? Is not that double standard?

If you do, then you belive in creationism, so the Earth has only 6000 years... you can't throw away something just that you don't like it or if NOW it's proven to be wrong... but still, amuse me, prove to me that Earth has 6000 years!

but you dont see my point. if god wanted a perfect world why give us those choices? why create evil? why make us grow the land? its good he gave choicess but why the chance in this area to make the wrong ones? we could have all been his true followers.

In church u taught life was created by god but in school im taught that it happened by evolution and we were created by monkeys... so which is real and how can i believe one thing and not the other.. it confuses me alot and i dont think schools should focus on that subject because it really does causes stress and confusion between the too.

Suppose I dont believe that there is a god or several gods or any sentient being out there. However, I dont think that religion is bad. Its great if a group of diverse people can be brought together under the ideas of certain morally correct behaviors and beliefs. Regardless of wheather anultimate god exists, if belief in his teachings encourages people to do good, then i'm all for it. Religion starts to get bad when it stops promoting coexistance and love and starts codemning any group with different ways of practicing. I read about atheism, but that seems like it scorns people who do believe in a divinity, and I dont think that it's right to discriminate people for their beliefs(so long as they're positive). I also dont think that we should only do good in this life so as not to be punished when we die. I think people should do good while they're here because its the right thing to do, and when you die, you're dead. :-) Any response, imput, or advice would be appreciated!

im not gay, however i feel no reason why a gay couple can't marry, or legally be seen as a married couple, it doesnt affect my life in any way, i'll still get up do the housework, and go to work, and pay the bills and raise my family.....Isnt it better to see people in love rather than fighting????so if youre against it, i ask WHY, and not the bibles reason why, your individaul reason why.....

Let's face it, anyone who cares about "saving" someone so badly that they end up on their doorstep, probably wants to rob them

I really do believe that most people are more annoyed by their intrusions, pestering and sometimes full blown harrassment, than they are appreciative of it.

i just have one more question. if god created a perfect world i think its stupid that he created evil. if gods brother was the devil then who was gods father? why have i never seen this question asked and also, if god made the world why did he just make a garden pretty? why wasnt the whole world like that? you get a conception that adam and eve were kicked into a desolate place. if god really made the world you would think it would be nice. and why did god let the snake into his garden if they were sworn enemies against each other in the first place. sure he would have know we could have had a perfect world if that enemy of his the snake was not allowed in the garden to tempt evil. i dont know but theres a lot of things that dont add up and sorry to debate against some peoples answers
