Nope. Monks aren't supposed to fall into trances.
But yes, God makes those stones all the time.
They're called stony human hearts. God can't lift them up, we have to do that.

My favorite question to believers.
All it actually proves is, that the very meaning of omnipotence is a logical impossibility. And it is what proves that the religious stuff is nonsense.
A little like, when someone lies to me just once, anything they say after this has to be considered at least suspect.
And if a book that has been around for some time has obvious lies in it, the whole thing becomes useless, unless you are just a gullible moron.

Yes, but only after Frodo returns the ring to the fires of Mordor. Both stories are just as factual.

Your lack of faith (fear is the opposite of faith) can be so strong that Jesus can do nothing with you.. Your own free will is so strong that it can prevent God from entering in and saving you from yourself. Your own unforgiveness and your desire to hate can prevent God from forgiving your sins.. The pebble ,that chip on your shoulder, of arrogence and pride is a mountain that God (by choice) cannot remove.. If you go to hell, it is of your own choosing.. Jesus did everything to prove he is who he is, and He gave you a free will that He will not violate..
