The Two Witnesses
1I was given a reed like a measuring rod and was told, "Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, and count the worshipers there. 2But exclude the outer court; do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles. They will trample on the holy city for 42 months. 3And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth." 4These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth. 5If anyone tries to harm them, fire comes from their mouths and devours their enemies. This is how anyone who wants to harm them must die. 6These men have power to shut up the sky so that it will not rain during the time they are prophesying; and they have power to turn the waters into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want.
7Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will attack them, and overpower and kill them.

"As in all the churches of the saints, the women should keep silence in the churches. For they are not permitted to speak, but should be subordinate, as even the law says. If there is anything they desire to know, let them ask their husbands at home. For it is shameful for a woman to speak in church. What! Did the word of God originate with you, or are you the only ones it has reached? If any one thinks that he is a prophet, or spiritual, he should acknowledge that what I am writing to you is a command of the Lord. If any one does not recognize this, he is not recognized" (1 Corinthians 14:33-38).

This is merly basic science. First, basic chemistry, looking at metablism, enzymes, energy & catalysis, large & small molecules. Also considering the reaction of pH & pKa & folaye..diverting carbonhydrates 12.0E-09, at which point displacement of amino acids & it's structures. Now using the kinetics curve as a calibration..equilibrium is contant for sucrose HELLO!!!..the ionization of acetic acid occures with carbonhydration within metabolism. This is all done with little modification that any 3rd rate biologist could determine the complexity to be irredducible..of course I'm taking into account that photosynthesis, pH & pKa are clinical and used with correlates..DUH!!!!!!!

You see it's very simple..any questions!

Though there is none that he does not exist either.

There is is no way to prove what a religious person or Atheist believe, so why do they? How can they? Do you believe 100% in your religion, or lack of belief in God? If yes, how?

The reaserch I have done seems to point to "No."
In the Bible, Eve is told that "...thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee." (Genesis 3.16)
Women in the Bible are even represented as being evil in the stories of Delilah, Potiphar's wife, Jezebel, and once again, Eve.
Ecclesiastes 7:26 states "And I find more bitter than death the woman, whose heart is snares and nets, and her hands as bands: whoso pleaseth God shall escape from her; but the sinner shall be taken by her.
Not to mention the story of Lilith, Adam's first wife, who was made from dust as he was, but who wouldn't submit to having her husband lord over her, and so fled Eden. That isn't in the Bible at all.

What do you think? Do you have to believe that women are inferior to men to be Christian?

I can't count the # of times I've heard people praise god for their financial success. Capitalism is a fairly Darwinian system and I doubt that it can be reconciled with religion. That's probably why Jesus said "render unto to Caesar what is Caesar's"

The only proof of gods are beliefs and books written based on beliefs. There is no definitive evidence of the supernatural. If there were, then there would be no such thing as an atheist. So how do you help believers understand what you already know?

Does the fact that your knowledge is based only on belief bother you?

I keep getting asked why do I care what other people believe, just let them believe. I'm trying to open some minds to the atheist way of thinking or at least help people to understand where we're coming from. The only thing that would stop me is if my U.S government would honor the complete seperation of church and state including closing the loophole that says that endorsing a god is different than endorsing a religion. Take "In god we trust" off our money, "Under god" out of our pledge for a start. Then end Bush's faith based initiative which uses my tax dollars to fund church social programs.

The burden of proof is on the claimant, believers make the claims

Do you really beleive that Ghandi (not a Christian, but a compassionate, peace loving man) go to hell while a cold blooded murderer who might whisper the name Jesus in his last hour go to heaven? Is this what you beleive? Are there any Christians out there who don't beleive this?

That God created the Universe just for our tiny planet and it's human beings. That no other life in the Universe matters, even if it's everywhere. Doesn't that seem ignorant and even arrogant?

(and don't quote the Bible. Answer this on your own with your own mind)

The full text of John 1:18 reads, "No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him."

Some Christians claim that Jesus was god, and he sure seemed visible most of the time in the gospel mythologies.
Also, A number of Bible passages indicate that prophets saw God (Genesis 17:1; 18:1; 26:2; Genesis 32:30; 48:3; Genesis 33:11; Exodus 24:9-11; Joshua 5:13-15; Isaiah 6:1; Matthew 11:27; John 220:28; Acts 7:55-56; 1 Corinthians 15:1-8; 3 John 11; Revelation 1:17-18).

So which part of the bible is gospel truth?

I am asking for my boyfriend. He has heard that Corrie Ten Boone pointed to Northwest Arkansas and asked Billy Graham where that was. She said she saw a light coming out of it like a revival would happen there.
