I was raised to believe in it, in a somewhat negative, harsh way, so I had my time of disinterest and lack of faith, but I did gain it back and learned a lot more than I did when it was shoved at me growing up. Nobody wants to believe in something that is like a punishment ya know? It sucks when people get rubbed the wrong way and turned off to Christianity, because it is a really rewarding, comforting, challenging way of life.

Even though I was raised in Christianity, I had the choice to decide whether I wanted to be a Christian or not. So my religion is Christianity because I believe in it.

I believe God. I was raised in christianity but at a certain age I thought the bible was crazy...just like most of the non believers here. I'm glad I believe now :) b/c it is the truth.

I was raised a Christian. I was taught Christian principles. I was converted to Christianity later in my life when I decided to apply it to my life and see if what I was taught worked in my life. As This man Jesus said it would, It works. True conversion comes when you want to share with others what has made a difference in your life. It is not simply saying you are Christian it is also acting like Christ. You can claim anything but your actions will show that you believe. WWW.LDS.ORG

As someone else has already pointed out, a Christian doesn't worship Christianity, but Christ/Bible/God. But meanwhile...
I became a Christian while fairly young, 9, but was not always such and my parents were not always such either. My family kind of came to the Lord one by one, my grandma, then my mom, then my dad, my brother and I, the last three of us within about 2 weeks of each other. But my grandmother's and mother's conversion predated the rest of the family by several years

I was raised to shun Christianity, as I was raised in a Conservative Jewish home.

As I grew up, I made fun of Christians and everything they believed.

As a teenager, I turned more agnostic, wondering if there was even a God at all.

Having been raised with an awareness of the existence of a God, I decided at age 18 to check things out myself, before utterly chucking my belief out the window.

I asked the "supposed" God if he was real...and if so, since he was God and all, then would he please prove it to me beyond the shadow of all doubt...and also let me know about this Jesus fellow..whether I needed to believe in him or not...and I asked that, since he was God and all, could he prove himself BY himself with no human intervention (I feared the whole 70's cult movement).

I forgot about that "prayer" and went on with life, high school graduation, etc...

Over the course of the summer of 1979, without my even looking for it, God began proving Himself....making me come to terms with him....making my mind comprehend things I previously hadn't considered....putting Scripture in my path in the most remote of places....He convinced me beyond the shadow of ALL doubt of His reality.....there were no people to "witness" to me or thump their Bibles at me....

And, no. I do not worship Christianity. The word Christian used to be a derogatory term used to describe the Jewish people who followed after Jesus....so Christianity is basically a body of beliefs.

I worship Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior.

When we are born, we are helpless. We depend on our parents for teaching us about the world, that includes religion. A recent study showed that Children believe in Science more than God. Those beliefs come from our parents.

Good question.

I personally was born Catholic but have converted to Seventh-Day Advent ism.

A lot of Filipinos are Catholic because the major religion in the Philippines is Catholicism. They are essentially Catholics by default....because they were raised that way...not because they choose to be.

I was brought up in a Southern Baptist family, but I turned out Agnostic. I didn't really feel like it made sense. I asked lots of questions that no one could answer then or now, plus the Bible is just completely ridiculous.
