the Bible's teachings) and I would appreciate Christian's answers here. We say we must ALL BE GOOD CHRISTIANS and therefore, we will all go to heaven, etc. My question is...if you live by God's word (Bible) and hang on to all of it - then why do you think we could have changed things? I mean the wars, etc. The Bible tells us these things WILL HAPPEN. So in reality, we have NO control over it anyway, right? I am not concerned about the world ending or anything like that. I'd like an answer to that question though. We can't change it if God told us this is the way it's going to be. Just not "when" --- and it may not be now. If you are a new generation person, you an say "look around you" and I can say to you "look around you" 100s of years ago - there was devestating weather and war too. People worried then that the world was going to end. They've always thought it was coming in their lifetime (when it didn't). Things CAN get worse ya know. You may not think so - but they CAN.

my husband has zero tolerence for for people that are black. he uses the word ****** like i use the word food. i was raised in mississippi, and i have friends that are black. my youngest son is mixed hispanic. when my husband talks this way i feel like he;s delibertlly trying to hurt me. ant suggestions?

can you give me the name of a christian who recently blew up innocent people chanting the name of jesus?
i never heard of a jew bombing a German bus station in the name of moses
i still got to hear of a buddhist blowing up people in the name of siddartha gotama, and i still got to hear of a hindu blowing up a school chanting lord brahmas name.
now why are muslims blowing up innocent people in allah's name?

Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are all beautiful religions. While I see Jews, Christians, and Muslims getting along peacefully in my job regularly, there is clearly tension among believers of these relgions, which leads to much suffering.

Can more be done to bring people together? If so, what?

(the simplistic "all religions are bad" or "they must all convert to my religion" answers won't help much)

Religion was created to instill morals into the people who follow it. Rather than laws created by kings and rulers, religion is a moral code supposedly created by a higher being and therefore infallable. In the past, all groups have been equally wrong, from Christians killing muslims in the crusades, to islamic extremists trying to kill christians. Missionaries giving bibles to starving nations instead of food to preferrential treatment of certain religions in various societies.

Now that humans have the firepower to destroy large chunks of the planet at a time, religious differences could bring about the destruction of the people it was originally meant to protect.

Dont think im aiming this towards islam, im sure if the pope issued a statement saying that breathing is a sin, 75% of Catholics would suffocate. Its a problem with religion, the fact that almost no religion tolerates or aknowledges any other is bound to create problems

Christians are not perfect, nor is anyone else... but why do so many people look for fault (sin) in someone just to use that as an excuse to disqualify their beliefs? Christians aren't perfect, just forgiven.

Do you children have spiderman closes and fairy's, trolls and santa clouse toys. Gos said not to have any other gods in our houses, but even our Christians do not realise that Africa art's for example are gods to other people, so we have gods in our homes who steal our happiness, love, money ect. God will not live in a house where there is other gods. Get rid of them - burn them like the say you must do. Believe me you will not believe how your life will change.

Do you believe on that because Jesus said: I Am the Alpha & the Omega (The first and the Last) so the holy spirit of God is within him so when Jesus talks and preached it is the Holy Father spoke and he use the flesh of man coz the Father Almighty cannot come to earth to preach.

I have a few records of words of life-time atheists who repented on their death bed, as their eyes saw "angels of God" who came to collect their souls but I'd like to get more of such incidences.

An atheist does not have to believe in the God-Jesus-Angels-heaven-hell facts for him to go to hell...He will go anyway if he does not repent.Hell and heaven is not hanging on their own thoughts.Hell is real and so is heaven...and so is judgement.

Some people who almost died saw their loved ones calling them to something that looks like heaven and they think it was really their families who passed away. This is not true...

One Nigerian pastor who died and came back, says those people who appear to be your dead families on their way turn into demons who will be carrying you to hell!He says you will notice them NOT to be your dead family as you go deeper into that tunnel.

The things of the spirit realm are beyond human imaginations.

Anyone out there who have such records?
