the thought police are a special government-funded department who specialise in working out what you are thinking and manipulating your ideas so that you think only things which make you and the government happy.
they first appear in gk chesterton's novel 'the man who was thursday' where they are the good guys (they make everybody happy).
they appear for a second time in george orwell's novel 1984 where they have become the bad guys (they steal everyone's freedom of thought).
if you think it is more important to be happy than to be informed and free then you will also consider the thought police to be good guys.
and you will approve of the patriot act.

Thank goodness we don't live in a society like that. But the Lord knows our minds. I think its 1 Corinthians 10 somewhere that says we are to capture our thoughts to the obedience of Christ.

Most of the jerk's here who won't let you say a word about the muslim's or just something they( thought police jerk's) don't like, because we all know they are the only one's who are rigtheous
