whether or not the crusification of christ is historically accurate aside.
Of all three major religions that sprouted from the heritage of Abraham Judaism is the only one not to recognise christ. The muslims actually see christ as a prophet. The reason why the Jewish and christian split more than 100 years after christ n.b. came to be is very complex(check up on some specialised books if you want to know more). But the main reason Jews do not recognise Christ is that they did not believe him to be the king of jews as prophesised in the old testament. the old testament speaks of this king leading the jewish people into liberty and the jews found themselves just as bad of after christ as before christ
All other religions simply have no interest in christ.

I don't understand what you mean by "manmade input out of all the religious scriptures" because the Bible IS the Word of God. God's Word cannot be put aside if we want to follow Jesus Christ and keep Him first in our lives.

We are told that Christ knowingly gave his life to save mankind, but did he. You say take the man made input out of all the religions, well all religion is man made, so how Christ died was told in a story by man, I believe that he was simply killed for his believes, and the fact he scared the hell out of the religious leaders of that time. So to right that he died for us sounds so much better to continue to brainwash the people of the earth, when he was just murdered.
Why would he waste his time trying to save us then, we didn't deserve it then, and we don't now because of the way we use the name of God, Jesus, and what we have done to the planet.
Dump religion, its full of rubbish, but have faith in God,, because faith is all you need, instead of listening to what another man has said

In answer to your question; not all people believe there ever was a Jesus Christ, me included.
As for your waffle about love hope peace truth light, you might be interested in the following:
Love - died long ago when we focused on materialistic happiness
Hope - there is no hope if there is nothing beyond life
Peace - as long as there is neuclear weapons and differences in oppinion
Truth - as time passes, greed increases and as greed increases, so too does the decay of truth
Light - we have electricity for that

I agree wtih the idea that we need to find common ground with other faiths. However, I think it impertinent that Christians should impose their beliefs on others. Other faiths do recognise Jesus as a prophet but they do not think he is the son of God as is claimed by Christians and therefore do not accord him any more status than other prophets and great people. I don't think it is up to anyone to evaluate other people's beliefs using their own as the benchmark as they would not like it if it were the other way round.

So did every patritotic American for America.
Your simply prefacing your question with the very manmade input of your own religious scripture.
The summation of your question is the heart and truth that combines all religious and may I add, agnostic spiritualists, as well.

Even from the religious standpoint, it was completely unnecessary for Yeshu ben Yosef to sacrifice himself - not to mention that it is impossible to die and suffer "for" anyone else. Christianity manipulates its members with a huge guilt trip, but the whole idea falls apart under the bright light of reason.

My dear Asker : The other religions donot believe in it. The Cardinal I met as President of my country's InterReligious Association said in presence of many, including the Chief Justice, that : we have never claimed that we understand or that we can explain the Trinity etc; for us , it is our Belief... So, no more question was raised. In that meeting, His Eminence the Cardinal presented me with a 'medal' of The Vatican for my work in enhancing cordiality among religions. So, please keep your beliefs, as we keep ours and yet be fellow humans and friends. Among my co-religionists, there is a living friend who has been blessed with Jesus Visions, yet he is not Trinitarian. We express such reverence for mylord Jesus The Christ that, I dare say, it surpasses yours... perhaps. Yet I do not believe in what you say in your question. We have 'reasons' to keep our Faith... and our Beliefs... and see Salvation in that.

"At first the religion of a small group of people, Judaism has become a universal religion, and belief in its God, more than any other, has reached the ends of the earth. For the God of Israel is also the God of Christendom and the God of Islam; and Judaism is the source of these other two great religions."
