The only times the New Testament mentions homosexuality, it is a contextual issue. In Romans, it was included in the same area as drunken orgies and incest, not in a loving relationship. The only time that is is ALWAYS wrong is the same way that ANY sexuality is wrong, which is during promiscuity.

Sure Homosexuality was pretty heavily censured in the Old Testament, but the New Testament is largely silent on the issue. Just as Christians feel no great need to follow the dietary advice of Leviticus, they see little need to condemn homosexuals on the say so of a few pre-historic sheep-herders.

And besides, most serious modern theologians accept that Christ was probably gay. The scriptural evidence is overwhelming.

Homosexuality is simply a sin. I don't think it is any different than any other sin. Is sin compatible with Christianity? No. Will Does God change us and our hearts as we sencerely seek Him? Absolutely.
People get so hung up on homosexuality as if it is a worse sin than anything else. I think people do this because they think it is nasty and perverted (I know that saying that is not politically correct, but there are people from all walks of life who feel that way). But in God's eyes, I don't think it is any worse than other sins.

No. See Romans 1:26, 27; 1 Corinthians 6:9, 10; Leviticus 18:22)

No, very few things are compatible with Christianity. Christianity isn't even compatible with Christianity.

No, no it isn't. It ties in as in homosexuality is a sin, as are lots of things, and Christians of course are sinners, need to repent of their sins, and try to stay away from that path. It's silly to say "I'm a Christian and a homosexual and I know it's wrong, but I'm a sinner" because you can't sin apologize for your sin and add that you're going to be sinning like this tomorrow, you're supposed to TURN from it...not that it's easy of course.

No. Homosexuality is a sin according to the bible, right along with wearing 2 garments of diffrent fabrics at the sametime.

No...but then what does it matter if homosexuality is compatible with any mythology? Gays didn't choose to be that way...why would anyone support anyone or anything that would punish people for something they have no control over? *shakes head*

No. And any church that marries homosexuals go against the teaching of God and are not a true Christian Church.

(Please don't get me wrong. I do not hate gays. I have gay friends. They know I do not condone their lifestyle, but still respect and love them as a person/people.)

Having desires for people of the same sex, yes, possibly.

Engaging in homosexual sex is a sin according to the Bible, so that would be a no.
