I do believe the universe was made for us and I don't think it is arrogant because I also believe that there are other universes for other life forces similiar to ourselves.

Until we discover other life in the universe, I am guessing we are alone. That might seem ignorant but let me explain.
Our telescopes and other instruments can see billions of light years away back to the creation of the universe. We see the beginning when stars are forming. We have found no other evidence that any other life exists.
Within a few decades we will certainly be able to send signals throughout much of the universe. Why haven't similar civilizations been sending us signals? Why can't we see evidence of more advanced life. Are we the first? Are we the only intelligent life? So far the answer is yes.
It seems almost impossible to believe but so far it is true.

yes and it doesn't seem at all ignorant or arrogant to me.
And why can't people quote the bible if it is what they believe in their own mind. We all base our beliefs and thoughts on something or something somebody said. Sorry, but I doubt that you thought of some great theology or theory that was never thought of before. Don't you base what you believe on something you read or were told, without necessarily personally seeing proof for yourself? Even believing in what science says requires some faith. Science has changed it's position through out history and things were said to be true and later said to be untrue in science.

You seem to have made a little error in your statement. According to the Christians, it's not for human beings in general, but only "The Chosen people". Everyone else is only fit to be a slave.
Arrogant? Yeah.

What an ill informed, quaint idea. We are a tiny part of the universe as are all the other myriad of life forms that exist throughout its unbelievable vastness.

We were a product of the universe.... most people know this one. Nothing was made for us, we are evolutionary beings, we make our own things from tools. Thats what seperates us from most animals on the planet

Of course not, it's just that humans have such a wonderful level of imaginative powers that we like to think so. People like to think of themselves as the center of everything... until a natural disaster knocks them down a step or two. Live and let live.

No I do not believe that the universe was made for us. God made it for Himself, for His glory. Just as He made us for His glory. It would be arrogant to think that it is all for us when it is really all for Him. That is what I believe.

Nope. Only arrogant if a man had done it for him or her self. But God did it for us to live in and explore.
