Say that there came a time where you were told you had to practice the beliefs of a certain religion (hypothetically) or would be tortured if you did not comply, would you go alone with it to save your life or would you die for your own cause?

After a passage of time nothing remains together, seperation is a fact(law)so the sages"rishis"seers undertake this" tapasya" penance of seperation, since separation is painful, death seperates all hence some cultures say "sa anta"i.e. "sa "that or he she is "anta" finish dead a living dead some say santa pronounced saantaa or saint people have no fear from the corpse(dead body) and that means no desires which many cultures describe it as the cause of pain or trouble desireless means death.Nobody wants to die except the existentialist this in itself is a desire and not willling ,desiring to die is too a desire. Are we playing with words?..

Alright, there's something I'm just not following. All my life I thought religions like Catholocism were considered Christian. For most of my life I thought the same of Mormons. Recently I've heard from members of various similar sects that no, Catholics/Mormons/Potestants/etc. are not Christian.
Can someone explain to me what the prerequisits are to be a true Christian sect or if these people who tell me this are just ignorant?

I recently opened my eyes and began to understand how the bible is a form of teachings on how to have sex with eachother but to speak in the form of the parables. Now as soon as i discoverded i asked several pastors and all denied it.I first want to know why everyone is scared to talk on the issue? second i wanted to say god told me we need to stop doing it.Is there anyone here who understands it and is willing to speak with me on the issue?

I know that religion is a very touchy topic, but after taking World Religions in college and with all the tragity happening and hatred, it just makes me wonder....I mean everyone believes that their religion is the one true faith and that God will save them because they believe this one true faith, but aren't we all fooling ourselves because we know that we are all believing different things??? It's just confusing to me because we've even killed if not now but in history for our beliefs even knowing that it's wrong....whose to say that any one individual belief is right, we will all die in our own time and we are all suppost to go to the same place, God is suppost to love each person the same no matter what they believe so why is there so much controversies....I guess I just want to hear others opinions about religion and why it is a big deal which one you believe in.....

Anyone wish to share their personal testimony of how they came to know Christ, or if raised in a Christian home, how you developed your own personal and vibrant love for Christ. Did you have to go through some sort of "trial or tribulation" like many of us have or what?

He could have created us as humans from the beginning. And if we have evolved, our character is still not much different from animals.

This is a sincere question and is not being asked to offend people.
That being said, I read the new testament awhile ago and stumbled upon a verse I had heard rumors about, namely Luke 6:30.
This verse seems to say that if someone asks a person who believes in the NT for something that the believer should give it to the asker.
However, in discussions with christians, some have told me that I'm misunderstanding the verse.
So, I was looking for comments and clarification.
Thank you for your help.

Also, please try to keep answers SHORT (no more than 40 lines).

Here's a link I found online: http://bibleresources.bible.com/passagesearchresults.php?passage1=luke+6&version1=31
