Im confused, Ive never been more lost, and I have cried out for God's help, but it doesnt seem as if he hears me! I thought that when we ask Him to come into our hearts, we were suppose to be protected by bad things, and satan! Please Help Me!

And prayers would be great too!

to test your faith, God hears all your prayers and he always answers them......sometimes he answers no. These are all tests of faith to make sure you are a true believer and not someone who only believes in time of personal need

The whole world is lying in Satan's power. Job, a faithful servant of God, was put to the test by Satan. Although Job faced many hardships, he never renounced his love for God. Because of Job's endurance and faithfulness, he was blessed many times over and will be resurrected to life in God's new order of things. - James 5:11

Soon, all badness will be gone forever. We patiently wait for God to accomplish this, and the time is close. Wicked people will no longer exist and the earth will be brought back to it's peaceful condition that existed before Adam and Eve sinned.

Psalm 46:9
Proverbs 2:21, 22
Psalm 37:9-11, 28, 29

Christians? What about the Jews? Don't tell me the Muslims haven't had hardships either. What makes you believe that the Bible (a man-made book) says that if you cry out for God's help, He will hear and help you? The obvious answer to your question is that Christianity (as well as all other religions) is a sham. I do believe in God though, but I do not claim to know His plan or any of the attributes that religions attempt to assume He has.

if i may ask, what things are you needing protected from?

The Bible says that "the rain falls on the just and the unjust alike
'
Translation- we are not protected from everything that happens
The choice of asking Christ into our hearts is not so that everything in our lives becomes perfect. it is so we be saved from the hell that follows this life

the Bible also talks of the fact that the Angels He sends to help us sometimes end up in battles with satan's demons. because while God is out to protect you, satan and his minions are out to turn you back to his side. The end of life's story is already written and satan knows his days are numbered. Revelations talks of some of the hardships that will be faced in the end times, and the signs around us point to the end. So Satan is working overtime. But God is there and there are a legion of angels assigned to you. hang on, and i will pray for you. if you want to talk send me a message.

Not all bad things come from Satan. God does listen. He also answers prayers. You, however, have to be able to accept the answers He gives you. They are what is best for you even if you can not see it right now. You will in time however.

You are on the right path. But don't just lament.
Lamenting is the due to things or anyone that have been taken away from you what you once possessed. And also do not hanker. Hankering is desiring something which is very difficult to obtain.

Accept something which is easy to obtain. That would be a nice beginning.
You are not lost start asking questions to the God realized.

Begin asking questions to yourself first?
Why? Why am I suffering? What is the aim of life? and then pose these questions before saintly persons. Please try not lament or hanker.

Read John 15:18-27; 16:1-4
Jesus didn't promise a bed of roses. He promised eternal life.
He said that the world would hate us because of our belief in him.
He said do not fear those who can destroy the body but He who can destroy the soul.
Bad things happen to everyone. It is what we do with those incidents that builds our character and separates us from the unbelievers.
Read James 1
and Psalm 116
I have been a Christian since 1967. A lot of bad things have happened to me in all that time but a lot of blessings also. I had to learn that the bad times were times of growing my character. With each incident my faith grew stronger and I grew closer in relationship to the Lord. Without these incidents I would be just a mamby pamby Christian floating along in the belief that God didn't listen to me.

I love it when all of these religious people give the typical bible puke answers. The fact is that life is what you make of it, if you are sitting around waiting for a spirit to save you nothing is going to change. You have to get out and make things happen for yourself. A woman once said "My husband always beats me, I asked God for help but he did nothing". After a while she became tired of asking and waiting on God, she called the cops, and he went to jail where he died. So pick up the phone or do what ever it is you have to do, but if you keep praying to a spirit to help you then nothing will change.

Prayers you will have.

Satan.. bad things.. and gods magic forcefield do not exsist as you state them.

Your soul maybe invisable to you but you must safegaurd it well. Every vex and hardship you live through (and maybe the one you do not) fortifies you in this world and in eternity and heavin for god. Doing a service for god, and importantly yourself.

Do not distress what matters most is eternal in gods eyes and youll see that this coil of mortaility is but a flicker of thought when it comes down to how long you really live in heavin. Its for your learning and gods exsperiance.

You think the son .. knowing full well could flee fromt the cross? What christ would he have been without it?

Bad things happen to anyone, not just Christians. You say you asked God to come into your heart and blame Him for not hearing you. Are YOU listening for HIM? We live in this fast paced life where we're constantly fighting the clock day in and day out. SLOW DOWN and relax! Go someplace where you can be alone to relax your mind and get everything out of your thoughts. When you least expect Him,He'll be there.Just listen.

God does hear you, read the scriptures about HIS wonderful counsellor the HOLY SPIRIT. If you can get your hands on the book: "Listening to God" by Joyce Huggett I got my copy from Koorong book shop.We are fallen mankind since Adam and Eve sinned in the garden of Eden, but Jesus shed his blood on the cross for our sin past, present and future. get involved in a small group A.S.A.P. To become the child of God he wants you to be. Satan will attack you, the joy is that Jesus has defeated satan. Surround yourself with strong Christians who will support you with prayer and sound biblical teaching God Bless
