NO, why do you think so?
world war 1 and 2 involved almost all the world divided in different camps waging war agaianst other camp. israel and lebanon does not enjoy a good relationship over a larger period of time. but certainly, this is not the possiblity that such skirmishes has ramification of engulfing the whole world. such situation came many times in past and this one does not seem very different.

today, with so many countries possessing nuclear weapons and many clandestinely possessing chemical and biological weapons, deterrent is the key world in today's diplomacy. and a world war at this stage means devastation of civilisation due to huge potential damage capabilities of participant.

but other than conventional war by weapons, the new war of today is economic in nature and which will continue to thrive at a faster pace

i am seeing no sight of world war 3 right now.

Despite many Christians' apocalyptic fantasies, this is far from likely the beginning of WW III. What concerns me most is that so many people (most of whom are fundamentalist Christians) actually think this is the "end times." Personally, I think it's a good time to sell bumper stickers to J-freaks.

What I think is far more likely is that some crazy J-freak will get the koo-koo idea in their head that by encouraging armed conflict that they'll somehow make the "rapture" or the return of Jesus happen sooner.

Are you willing to encourage armed conflict over something that can't be proven scientifically? Do you think that qualifies you as dangerously delusional?

This final worldwide warfare starts in the time of the tribulational time. The 7 365 days peace treaty is signed after the Christians/believers are taken out off of the earth. There are 3 a million/2 years of "peace" and then the worldwide chief differences the regulations and breaks the peace treaty. in the e book of Revelation, the final e book in the Holy Bible, it tells of 21 judgments via God. sure, i've got self assurance a number of those are already beginning up, yet their finished intensity won't hit earth and the inhabitants of earth until eventually the final 3 a million/2 years of tribulation, while Russia and China descend to wipe out Israel. they're no longer able to accomplish that. God pours out his wrath on people who will warfare against Israel and it would be comparable yet moreso than the plagues upon Egypt written approximately in historic information and in the previous testomony. worldwide warfare III will end while Christ returns and places an end to those who have not believed in Him.

Humans don't know the answer to peace...and with the world being so divided on religion......it will happen.
Mankind has become so technalogical, but instead of trying to find ways to be peaceful and resourceful, they pollute our world, kill other human beings and can't find answers to peace.
Mankind has the capicty to wipe out humanity......
