To the Muslims: What will happen on Judgement Day?

According to the Quran, what will happen?

The most important events that will happen on the Day of Judgement are when we will be held accountable for our deeds and when we will be questioned by our Lord Allah (S.W.T.). There are many Quranic verses and ahadith that tell us about these events so that the believers will prepare themselves for the most important, final test. They can prepare for this test with their strong faiths and with their righteous deeds.

Allah (S.W.T.) says what could be translated as, "Draws near for mankind their reckoning, while they turn away in heedlessness." ( Surat Al-'Anbia', Verse 1)


Also, He says what could be translated as, "Verily, to Us will be their return: -Then verily, for Us will be their Reckoning." ( Surat Al-Ghashiah, Verses 25 and 26)

[80 4:2] even as the heaven bursts asunder, [80 4:3] And hearkens unto her Lord - and it really is incumbent upon her - [80 4:4] And even as the earth is spread out [80 4:5] And solid out all it somewhat is in her, and looks to grow to be empty, [80 4:6] And hearkens unto her Lord - and it really is incumbent upon her - [80 4:7] Verily, thou, O guy, artwork toiling alongside in route of thy Lord, a difficult toiling; till thou meet Him. [80 4:8] Then as for him who's given his record in his excellent hand, [80 4:9] he will, easily, have an elementary reckoning, [80 4:10] And he will go back to his kin, rejoicing.
