I have delved in the studies of chakras. I find it very interesting that everyone has the energy points that emits certain fields or colors. Is there anyone here who can "see" the chakras? Can a novice like myself with no gift, become more attuned to picking up the energy points. I have very little knowledge on meditation as well. I have had the chakras cleansed a few times and I swear that it does work. I could not explain the womans gift, but I do believe it. I cannot speak of it amongst my friends because they make think I am "flakey".

I think this may explain it. What do you think?

Hebrews Chp 12

"My child, don't ignore it when the Lord disciplines you,
and don't be discouraged when he corrects you.
6
For the Lord disciplines those he loves,
and he punishes those he accepts as his children."*

7 As you endure this divine discipline, remember that God is treating you as his own children. Who ever heard of a child who was never disciplined? 8 If God doesn't discipline you as he does all of his children, it means that you are illegitimate and are not really his children after all.

Let's say you were stranded as an infant on a desert island and raised by monkeys. If you live your life in accordance with Christian "Values" doesn't God see that you're being a good person, without being a pious Chirstian, and reserve a place for you in His Kingdom? Where would you go if you weren't a Christian?

There is infinity. Then there is finitude. The limitless, the limited.

It seems to me that we human beings are limited. We have limits. We can't be all. We can't know all. We can't do all.

Since we have limits, we ought to be more humble. We should recognize that we can not, do not have all the answers. We do not know all. We are not always right, correct.

This is particularly so in the arena of religion. No one has or knows all the answers. No one has a corner on all of reality and the totality of truth.

This is just a thought., mainly directed at other Christians. Anyone who's seen any of my q's and a's will know I'm very opinionated, this falls into that;)
We have so many denominations, so many little little things that seperate us from each other, where the specifications of our beliefs rule over our love for God and each other. The church, as a orginization as opposed to support for Christians, seems to cause a lot of problems. It also spurs along a lot of judgemental attitudes that not only hurt others, but also creates a very negative image of Christianity.
So how about, instead of a chruch that falls into a specific denomination, and is open to those that believe the exact thing they preach, we have people who believe in God (disregarding specific differences in belief) come together on sunday and discuss what they think, instead of someone getting up and telling everyone else to think? No rules, just a weekly exchange of ideas, and support for each other despite differences.

There is a religious right, there is a secular left, and yes there is even religious left, but is there a secular or atheist right? It seems the Atheists battle the Christians and the liberals take on the Conservitives but I am just curious if there is an Athiest right and what would they stand for.
