The very first sin ever cmitted was by Lucifer, and it was the same as all other sins; he defied God's truth and tried to follow his own.

According to the Bible, Eve eating from the Tree of Knowledge. But then again, you can't take the Bible literally (there's too much information lying beneathe the surface), so no one would know for sure.

According to the Bhagavad-gita the first sin, the one that got us dumped here in the material world, is still the one that is holding us here. Envy of Krishna (God) is the root of all evil, the original sin. We all want to be God, the supreme enjoyer, instead of His loving servant.

Lucifer (aka Satan or the Devil) sinned to God First. He was the very first sinner, he brought sin to the world, that's why he's in hell. His sin was to disobey God and try to be God ( it didn't work )

Sin is a concept which has no validity unless a god exists... and since no gods exist, sin doesn't exist either.

it was adam who sined not eve for it was adam who was told not to eat of the tree. eve ate the fruit to be like god and adam ate the fruit to be with eve
