He'd be disappointed. His Church and world did not turn out the way he had intended.

Ask him. He'll tell you. And, no, I'm not kidding. If you don't want to ask him directly (in prayer), go to the Bible and read what he said about society and culture. Ultimately, he doesn't think too much about society and culture--which are temporary human constructs. He thinks about human souls. There is a world of difference.

For real, if you make contact with Christ in prayer, and if you are earnestly seeking him, he will give you the answers you are looking for.

He unquestionably despises a great deal of it, just as He did the Roman culture. As a whole, our society is unloving, selfish, pleasure-seeking, sin-loving, and despisers of God. . . just as people were back then. Nothing has changed except that we have more toys to play with than they did. But people's hearts are not a bit different. Even the same old tired philosophies have been revived- epicureans, stoics, pagans- we've got them all (under new and improved names, of course), which would be laughable if it wasn't so sad.

Today's culture is not too much different than the one he was preaching to in the Bible. We still have the wealthy, the politicians, the poor, and the working class. The main things that have changed are the technology and the level of wealth we have.

i think he might be confused. he'd say on one hand mankind has come a long way but on the other hand mankind has become more backwards. he'll say, "let me see, how long have i been trying to get everyone to get along and it still is no closer". "oh god why did you make people different"? if only everyone looked the same and we all spoke English. then who would need war and religion and cultures. i for one say" boring". I'm quite happy with and for the differences we do have. peace!

I think he would be stunned and very hurt. I think he wouldn't say anything but just cry! But isn't the end of the world God's plan. And it says in the Bible things will keep getting worse like they are. Famine and disease.. so I guess it is all part fo the plan. Don't know a lot about it.. this is just my opinion.

Jesus would tell you that it is nothing new, "There is nothing new under the sun", the people in this world have never changed much, the same wickedness and the same struggles have gone on since Adam's fall from grace.

You speak of Him as if He were dead. Is your own heart dead? Daniel, Timothy, and Luke speak of today's times which Jesus predicted. The earth is pregnant. But just how pregnant *are* we? What does Jesus think? Ask Him yourself.
