Muslims feel the same way. Except, if you don't convert, the Koran says they can kill you and take your land.

Now, in comparison, don't Christians look great?

More to the point, if you are not familiar, Christians have something called the Great Commission, where the last thing Jesus told them to do before leaving was "Go ye therefore and make disciples of all nations" (paraprhase).

So they are just being consistent with their worldview. Just like all the replies you are generating that are bashing Christians.

It makes perfect sense that if you think you're view is the correct one that therefore anyone who doesn't hold that view is wrong and needs to be corrected. If I were a xian I would be horrified by how many ppl. were hell bound and I would be out in the street, going mad at the thought of all those people ending up there. If in real life you saw a crowd of people walking unknowing toward a live volcano, wouldn't you shout and make a spectacle of yourself trying to warn them away? Holding to a superstition but then saying it's alright if others don't believe it, while being diplomatic, just doesn't make any sense. If you think there is a supreme being and a son you have to believe existed and a heaven and hell it makes no sense to say to others, "but you believe whatever you want, that's cool...".

For the record, I am an athiest.

Unlike what some of your respondents have said, I can't buy, earn or plead my way into Heaven. "For it is by faith we have been saved; through Grace-and this a gift from God. Not by works, lest any man should boast" Ephesians 2: 8-9. I only speak to others about my faith because I want to share with others what has made such a difference in my life. I'm not trying to "convert" anybody, that's God's job, not mine! I can only tell you what He has done for me and if that Gospel grows in your heart, then it's God's work, not mine! Who wouldn't want a God loving enough to take you just as you are, covered in sin though you may be, without making you follow endless rules and do countless "chores" before you MIGHT be considered "good enough"? My faith has set me free, not tied me down.

Because both the Bible and the Koran tell the followers of Chris and Mohammad to go out and share the good news to all people. The Jewish faith is for God's first chosen people and it is a birth right and it is very hard to convert to Judaism.

I'm not a christian. But the bible does say to spread the word.. Most of the time Christians do it in the most inappropriate times and places. They do not see they do more harm than good in most cases..Many Christians don't own up to the many instances in their history when others were killed in the name of their religion in the converting process.

I don't try to convert anyone i try to plant a seed that might grow later on but if not everyone is still a brother and sister and still loved just the same wether they are a christan or not. I think alot of times ppl just think we try to convert but alot of times it is just planting a seed that may grow later. and for those christan that keep harping at you after you have already said you are not interested then they should listen to you and let you be. I am sry for the impression you have gotten of christan if that is the only impression you have gotten.

Its what is called THE GREAT COMMISSION, which means to evangelize the world. Its the work that Jesus said we were to do. Jews are mainly in a antisemitic rut created by so-called "christians".
Oh, that maybe an oversimplification.

Well really it is called the great commission. It is not a virus like that guy called it. Jesus told us to go and make disciples of men. Matthew 28:18-20 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." That is why is because God our Father is in command. We follow the teachings of the Lord God.

Jesus commissioned us to preach the good news of God's kingdom as the only solution to all mankind's problems, to make deciples of all peoples baptising them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the holy spirit. Jehovah's Witnesses continue going door to door even when people don't want to hear because people move and someone else may now be living in the house, and people's circumstances change and they may be more open to listen(happens often). It's God love and mercy and patience with everyone that he keeps us going around trying to reach receptive hearts because he does not desire anyone to die but to gain life and it's our love for our neighbors as well. I understand some are really zealous but it's really their love for everyone and their wanting everone to get saved.
