Which Christian do you prefer, the one who believes in theistic evolution, or the one who sticks with the Genesis story of creation.

I actually prefer the Genesis fundamentalist cause even thou I'm an atheist I can learn more about what the Bible is actually teaching then from the pick and choose "well thats not what it is saying group"

So many choices and variations to choose from, and they all seem to have their perks and drawbacks. I don't want to damage the intellects of my children, but we all know that in the majority of societies on the earth today, they would be much safer from abuse and prejudice if they are indoctrinated with some sort of faith.

Does the belief that Jesus was a divinely special child, who died and resurrected, inspire you to live the exemplary live that we are told he led or are you inclined to believe that because God favored him it is futile trying to emulate the example that was his life? Are you persuaded to think that if God wanted you to be like Jesus you would have been born of a virgin? Has it changed your belief that all men are equal before God and His Impartiality towards us?

we blieve in God blindly...no matter which religion ur from if u have a religion u blieve in God blindly since there is no prove of a God.Except of wat we blieve in like the bueaty of the universe and the ocean and hills and how the world was made and all the question i kno arise in ur head...But is this blind faith turning us blind? we keep our parents religion we dont bother searching for our selfs...i was born in a muslim family so im a muslim but i had been born in to a christain family im sure i would have been a christain rite now....(no offense) wat am i saying is that we stand up to kill people for our religion, we dont tolerate other people or there religion..if we did y would we have had so many wars because of the god we believe in...Each and every religion says dat there religion brings message of peace and love yet most battles have been in the name of our god....y dont we search for our own god instead of just beliving in wat our parents told us to?

If you follow the realms of Quantum Physic's you might be surprised to find that disease is entirely brought apon yourself. You choose your reality, you choose your destiny. It would be insane to think that you are never exposed to cancer causing agents, aids, bacteria, etc. For your body is 90% water and you have billions of organisms (bacteria, virus, etc.) living in your body. Come on Mushrooms are 95% water(we are so much different aren't we). In fact you would die instantly if you didn't have all the bacteria in your rectum, for they are the reason your poops are brown and they digest your food. How do people get aids, cancer, etc? It is brought apon by guilt, stress and etc. You have to believe in yourself and protect your mind from the subjected media from the medical community who want you to die for they will make money if you are dieing.

You have to lead a fulfilling life, you must believe in yourself.

IMO the bible is not 100% accurate nor does it always preach the correct moral model. With this said I also believe the cannon also has some historical truths to it with certain moral standards which are indeed correct. With this also said, even the stories that are not historically accurate & or those which are metaphors can be used to demonstrate a teaching point. Does it matter or not whether the story of Noah's Ark is true to be able to use it for teaching trust in the higher power? There are many such possible examples in the bible. I write this in part for those of you who are certain the bible is the one all be all of truths & I also write this for those of you who have polarized in the opposite direction thinking the bible like other books in the past should be burned. If we realized the point is moot then we allow ourselves to be open to functional teaching points without getting too caught up in our respective dogmas.

All of us in this section of yahoo would take a moment later when we leave our computers and are all by ourselves and ask this question: Invisible Pink Unicorn if you are real whoever you are,and whatever the truth is would you reveal it to me? And see what happpens. If you do this for real it would be nice to hear from you. You could post an answer and add your results later before this question closes. Thanks for participating I'm really interested in the results.

Atheists say to Christians what proof of is there of your God? And the Christians says you can't prove he doesn't exist. But Christians apply this same logic that the atheist does, the presumption of atheism, to all other Gods,

all other religous people could respond the same to the Christian, prove our God(s) don't exist, and since you can't . . . .

and round and round religious goes.

I wonder how many people are going to answer and tell me I need Jesus, to which I respond with the presumption of atheism, prove it please.
