Which Christian do you prefer, the one who believes in theistic evolution, or the one who sticks with the Genesis story of creation.

I actually prefer the Genesis fundamentalist cause even thou I'm an atheist I can learn more about what the Bible is actually teaching then from the pick and choose "well thats not what it is saying group"

I had never thought of it that way. I guess I'd go with the literal interpretation Christians, too. If nothing else, they know what they believe in, and they don't try to disguise it as science.

So what you are saying is the Christian fundamentalist who reads the Bible as history and science, and who doesn't apply intelligent criticism to the Bible teaches you more about the Bible than people who try to apply reason to understanding the Bible? You prefer simplistic and concrete thinking to an abstract, intelligent approach to life? Isn't that one of the things non-Christians are always criticizing Christians about?

The question I have for you is if you got the heaven and God told you the Evolutionists had it right....could you handle it. Or would you cry like a baby, thinking your a high and might human that can't possibly be on the same level as the rest of the animals on the planet.

The one who is wise enough to stay away from answering a question like this. The answer is more complicated then what you are really looking for. There is much room between the lines but it is all suposition unless you temper the answer with the fundie (It says what it says)

I prefer a person who can think rationally and reasonably over someone who takes things literally from a magical fairytale.

I have no monkeys (or monkey-like creatures) in my family tree.

I do believe in intelligent design but (as I understand it), that doesn't have anything to do with macro evolution. I believe in 6 literal days of creation.

Love me or leave me. ;o)

I like the ones who know that their truth may not be my truth, and they're OK with that!
Besides, my creation story is a whole lot funner than theirs!

I love them all cause they are my brothers and sisters in Christ.

And even though those are important issues, it's not our salvation!
