Lets say a fundie is driving down the road towards his or her church since it is Sunday. While driving, he or she spots a car broken down on the side of the road and the driver, an old lady, helpless to do anything about it. Would the fundie ignore the situation and attend church that day, or would the fundie stop and try to help the old lady and be sent to hell for not going to church that day?

Why is it that the questions that focus or revolve around christianity seem to stay on Yahoo answers for a long time but when a Pagan question arises, they seem to get lost or disappear or like in my case, I was told I was in violation of the guidelines when I asked for advice for locating other pagans/wiccans or websites that would be helpful?

Is it right, or even legal in the U.S., to force your 16 year old son to go to church when its very clear he doesn't want to.
Being in that position, I say no. The constitution gurantees me the freedom to practice (or not) any religion I choose. How then can I get out of being forced to participate in a religion I clearly don't believe in?

He told me last month that he still loves me but his feelings have changed. He just says he has a lot of things to work out in his head. Whatever that means. He says he's not happy w/his job either. We have 4 kids. I am confused because I care deeply about our marriage and don't believe in divorce from a Christian stand point. He has never drank before however has recently started drinking which is a little difficult for the children to see. His father is a pastor and has spoken to me and said to trust in the Lord and wait things out. He won't speak to his parents for fear of being "preached at". My DH has said let's take things a day at a time, but I have no idea how to act anymore knowing this news. Just not sure what to do anymore. Being a proud guy I don't think he'll do counseling either.

The following passage shows that slaves are clearly property to be bought and sold like livestock:
However, you may purchase male or female slaves from among the foreigners who live among you. You may also purchase the children of such resident foreigners, including those who have been born in your land. You may treat them as your property, passing them on to your children as a permanent inheritance. You may treat your slaves like this, but the people of Israel, your relatives, must never be treated this way. (Leviticus 25:44-46 NLT)
Read Exodus 21:2-6 to learn how hebrew slaves are to betreated. Also read Exodus 21:7-11 to learn how to practice sex slavery in a way pleasing to the Lord.
What about the new testament you ask?
Christians who are slaves should give their masters full respect so that the name of God and his teaching will not be shamed. If your master is a Christian, that is no excuse for being disrespectful. 1 Timothy 6:1-2
