This is the place that Jesus went to pray saying if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done. He asked that if it were possible, the hour might pass from him. This is where Judas betrayed him. The betrayal led to the Crucifixion which brought the atonement. You can read more in_Mark 14:32-36_Matthew 26:36-56 and John 18:1-14.

It is impossible to put into words the full meaning of the Atonement, which is the most important event in the history of the world. Through His suffering in the Garden of Gethsemane and on the cross, the Savior atoned for our sins. This is the good news for all people!
We can’t fully understand how Jesus suffered for our sins. But we know that in the Garden of Gethsemane, the weight of our sins caused Him to feel such agony that He bled from every pore (Luke 22:39–44).

Later, as He hung upon the cross, Jesus willingly suffered painful death by one of the most cruel methods ever known.

The Savior tells us:

For behold, I . . . have suffered these things for all, that they might not suffer . . . even as I. [Doctrine and Covenants 19:16–17]
Jesus Christ did what only He could do in atoning for our sins. To make His Atonement fully effective in our individual lives, we must have faith in Christ, repent of our sins, be baptized, receive the Holy Ghost, obey God's commandments, and strive to become like Him. As we do these things through His Atonement, we can return to live with Him and our Heavenly Father forever.

The Garden of Gethsemane has everything to do with the atonment. That is where Christ went to pray, he was troubled in spirit. he knew what was to come, he asked three of his apostles to wait a ways off to keep a lookout. He prayed, He asked our Father in Heaven to take this cup from him but "not my will be done, but Thine". As a memeber of the Mormon church this is the most important teaching that we have. It is how we live our lives, it is how we make our descisions. After he prayed this and told the Father "thy will be done" he payed for all the sins of the world from beging of time to the end of time. He was in so much agony that he sweated great drops of blood. After that was done, I believe is says in John that angel ministered to Him and gave him support. He alone could save the world, but he wasn't alone in it. Just like in our sufferings, he will not let us be alone, no matter how alone we feel.

That Tome refers to the night vigil that Jesus spent confessing his sins and asking his Father just why he had to go through with his scourging at the pillar and his crucifixion. His ending words were "I will drink this cup of poison." Then he waited for His Judas betrayal.

Oh, It was an olive grove owned by a friend of Joseph.

I was going to answer you but I'm not where my bible is and I don't want to go get it. Yeah, I know, I'm being lazy. Actually, I'm disabled. I know the scriptures very well, not word for word but what they say. I can explain things.
