God invented abortion and uses it every day in the form of miscarriage. God does not kill a fetus in abortion. God takes the soul of the fetus and protects it from harm.

Abortion is rewarded by this society. Pregnancy is not. People who are so anti-abortion that their faces turn all shades of red when discussing it ought to think about what signals their behavior is sending to their female children. "Gee - they'd better NEVER hear the words "I'm pregnant" from MY lips! They would KILL me!"
There is a grave in a local cemetary of a young girl whose family was very anti-abortion. The young girl took the RU 486 pill and had a bad reaction to it. I wonder if she would have made the decision to abort if she had felt that she could talk with her parents. I'm not judging them. I'm sure that they loved their daughter very much. I am saying that all children need to be able to communicate with parents.

I'm actively pro-choice. They should be available to women who need them. What I don't get is how some people just deny they should be available. Being pro-abortion doesn't mean that everyone MUST get an abortion, but they seem to think the opposite is reasonable.
Its NOT a baby, it a couple of rapidly growing cells, which I might point out is the definition of cancer, and you have no problem getting them cut out if its going to ruin your life, why should foetal cells be any different!
Someone above mentioned asking my children (which I don't have) if they were glad they weren't aborted, well I recently was talking to my Mom, and told her I would have wanted her to have that choice, if thats what she would have wanted. And once again, its not murder, its just a couple cells.

Yes. Is an acorn an oak tree? If we are only talking about preventing a POTENTIAL human being, then every time we jack off we are murdering millions and millions of babies. Why force an unwanted baby to live? This is probably where all our criminals come from. What they should do is sterilize everyone at birth and allow them to reproduce only if they can prove financial responsibilty...

Only the Sith deal in absolutes, young padawan.
I'm sorry but you can't ask that question. You don't give any parameters or facts surrounding it. Its like asking "Cake or Death" and saying that you are all out of cake.
There are too many factors that could change a person's answer from yes to no and no to yes.

NO, no, no........... I had my daughter at 16, by myself in effect. Raised her by myself. with out her I don't know where I would be now. there would have been so many good parties and booze that I would have ended up on the street drunk somewhere with no reason to put my self through college to support her or buy my first house........ she saved me. She is 21 now and one of my biggest blessings....... so no. You never know what kind of blessing you are killing. God has a plan for you and your baby. Abortion, it is killing our next doctor who will find a cure for cancer, our next great president, our next Mother Teresa. There is a cure for abortion, it is called adoption. There are millions of people out there waiting to adopt. Give your baby life and someone their dream to be a parent. What does the Bio Mother lose, her waist size for a few months.

normally no. however what if you were violently raped?
or what if you found that the fetus was severely deformed before it was born? is it fair to bring a child into the world who is so sick that it will never actually have any kind of life? i wouldnt want to be here if i was deformed or a vegetable or something like that.
but normally i think its sad and not right. i think people use it as a way to get out of responsability. i know one gal who has had like 3 abortions. and call me shallow but it made me think less of her.
i was blown away by my secret reaction. but truely, and i know its bad, it made me not respect her very much. theres something called birth control out there you know? lolol 3 times!!!!

Yes in rape cases, when a fetus is endangering the mothers health, or when there are many fetuses and some need to be killed to increase the others chances of survival, no when someone forgets to use birth control.

Your body, your right. Why are people so obsessed with this topic. If you don't approve of it, then you don't do it. Let me live my life and make my choices. You are not going to take care of someone's child. You don't know if they are capable or ready. Why don't people just obsess over other issues such as crime, politics, poverty or human rights? What about starvation in Africa; thousands of children die do to a lack of food, sanitation and medical treatment..

I think it depends on the situation and the person thats going to be carrying the baby. If you are not responsible or you don't have the finances to support the child and you are not going to be able to give the love that it needs then why not adoption? I would lean towards no. There are thousands of people that would LOVE to have babies of their own and can't. And they would be more then happy to take that baby.
