Prophet?
Madman?
The Christ?

Death. It happens to everyone, and someday it will happen to me. I fear this greatly. I do belive in god, but I wouldn't call myself a complete christian, although I do go to church sometimes and learn about the lord christ. I am an honest person, I stay out of trouble and try to treat everyone nice. But alot lately, Death has been on my mind. I do not want to die ever, but I know the time will come. And sometimes for me it's like watching a clock count backwards. It almost seems like torture to me. I am afraid of how I will die, and what will happen to me after I die. Will it hurt? Will, (after I die,) It will turn into the way it was when I wasnt born. Nothingness, and stay that way forever? And if that's the case what is the perpose of being here? To me, it's horrible that we have to die. And even more horrible to know that anyone can take life away from you and not care. Is it ok to fear death? Is it natural to think about it daily? To me, the fear of death is a horrible torture

(Ephesians 6:5 NLT)

"Slaves, obey your earthly masters with deep respect and fear. Serve them sincerely as you would serve Christ.

(1 Timothy 6:1-2 NLT)

"Christians who are slaves should give their masters full respect so that the name of God and his teaching will not be shamed. If your master is a Christian, that is no excuse for being disrespectful. You should work all the harder because you are helping another believer by your efforts. Teach these truths, Timothy, and encourage everyone to obey them."

In the following parable, Jesus clearly approves of beating slaves even if they didn't know they were doing anything wrong.

The servant will be severely punished, for though he knew his duty, he refused to do it. "But people who are not aware that they are doing wrong will be punished only lightly. Much is required from those to whom much is given, and much more is required from those to whom much more is given." (Luke 12:47-48 NLT)

Someone showed me this book called Prophet of Doom which apparently reveals a lot of sick stuff in the the islamic scriptures.
However, someone else told me that the guy made the stuff up. Now, the book is around a 1000 pages long. I find it difficult to believe he made it up.
Anyways, I was wondering if anyone (specifically muslims) had any take on this.
Also, can anyone verify/discount what he quotes?

e.g. http://www.prophetofdoom.net/quotes.aspx?g=405&i=4528

This question was not asked to offend, but to learn. Please no hateful replies and try to keep replies to 35 lines (and readily available sources are a plus).

Thanks so much

(Exodus 21:20-21 NAB)

"When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property".

Plain, simple and dirty.

I believe in God and more importantly for the right reasons which would be because its the right thing to do.
But I can't help but feel like its added obligation. I mean why should I sing, pray, live, breathe for this. We don't have long on earth so why must it be pledged with religion. And the fear that the church enforces on non believers is not right.

Is it wrong to question this? Have you ever done so? Im feeling a little frustrated especial when those who don’t do it for the best reasons are progressing more and have bad ways.

Then O jinn and men, which of your Lord's praiseworthy will you deny?

And besides those two, there will be two other gardens.
O which of your Lord's bounties will you deny?

Dark – green and well-watered.
Which of your Lord's blessings will you deny?

In both two gushing springs.
O which of your Lord's favours will you deny?

In them plenty of fruit, and dates and pomegranates.
O which of your Lord's blessings will you deny?

Amidst these blessings chaste and beautiful wives
. O which of your Lord's bounties will you deny?

Houris kept in their tents.
O which of your Lord's blessings will you deny?

No man or jinn will have touched them before them.
O which of your Lord's blessings will you deny?
مـتكـىين على رفـرف وعـبـقـرى حـسان
They will be reclining on green cushions and fine, rich carpets.
O which of your Lord's bounties will you deny?

It seems like the closer I get to my (spiritual) goals, the farther I get pushed away. I look around at people who are doing horrible things and they are having "good lives" while I am being "attacked" from every angle. I feel as if Satan is trying to distract and keep me from achieving what I know that I should, and I am beginning to wonder why even bother. Something "always" comes up, if I am trying to get to a meeting, something will happen that day that keeps me from preparing and a lot of the times even from attending. Job is a far better man (human) than I will ever be. Are any of you or have any of you had this same problem, what have you done that has helped?

The dwellers of Paradise shall be reclining on carpets lined with thick silk, and the branches of the gardens will be hanging down (on them) with fruit.

O which of your Lord's blessings will you deny?

Amidst these blessings will be those of bashful looks, whom neither man nor jinn will have touched before them.

O which of your Lord's bounties will you deny?

As beautiful as rubies and pearls.

O which of your Lord's bounties will you deny?

There is this school that is deluting and corrupting children by placing a cross on the wall in the hallway.

SO before I call the ACLU I decided to give the school a chance to remove the pagan symbol (cross) and they said it was religious freedom so I told them that I worship a 5 headed dragon and would like to place a symbol of this almighty dragon is the school hallway and they told me I couldnt.

Obviosly they have a double standard and for them to assume Christianity is the only religious symbol is frivolous .
I called the ACLU and they promised the cross will be removed ASAP because it is illegal.

If the school will let me place my 5 headed dragon up on the school walls then i wont have a problem with the cross on the wall. Fair is fair.

I gave the school untill next week to allow me to bring the 5 headed dragon to the school or this will end up in litigation. I thank god for the ACLU for standing up for my rights and the seperation of religion and state.
