free will... it's man's choice... not Gods

The Catholic church has absolutely nothing to do with God. The only place God mentions them in the Bible is in Revelation. He pronounces judgment on this "mother of harlots." The Roman Catholic church will have you believe that the Jesus they serve is the same one of the Bible, when in reality, this couldn't be further from the truth. This religion is straight out of Babylon. God loves Catholics, but He hates how the church has deceived them for thousands of years under one title or another. He hears the cries of those persecuted and taken advantage of by the priests of this charade. One day, He will set things aright. But the Catholic church will be on the wrong side. We read in the scriptures of these religious people crying out to God before they are cast into hell, how they had performed many good deeds in His name. Yet he tells them, "Depart from me, ye workers of iniquity. I never knew you." Don't be deceived. God hates these heinous crimes, but His hour is not yet come. If you want to hear more about how you can be on the right side when it all goes down, write me at joshpjscd@yahoo.com. These "priests" are not as they seem.

God has given man a free will. All men are sinners. Priest are also are sinners. Romans 5: 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: There is only one man that ever lived on the earth who was without sin and He died for our sins on the cross. 2 Corinthians 5: 21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. There is only one high priest and that is the Lord Jesus Christ. All other priests are fake they can do nothing for you. 1 Timothy 2: 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

First, if you truly are on a quest for a deeper relationship with God, take a moment and see how many answerers (like your first one) simply invalidate the premise of your question (if god is real) and go directly to their immediate attack against religion. You should ignore these answers.

Second, I believe you would be better served if you reworded your question: "If God and Jesus are, and are who they say they are - full of love for mankind their children and brothers - why do they ... "

THAT is the key question. It is a GREAT question: where, O God, is the love?

I would recommend that you don't accept the typical cop-out of "free will". "God has given man the freedom to choose, and when man chooses evil, God can do nothing about it." First, this paints the picture of God being some impotent model builder, who builds his model, sees a train wreck coming to destroy much of his work, and does nothing about it. This is a stupid picture. Who could honor such a God? Second, God himself looks for men "to stand in the gap" to protect the innocents (Exodus 22:30). Can God not measure to his own standard?

So ... the answer remains open.

Remember, for your own health, that God being hard to understand does not mean that He does not exist. It does mean that He is sometimes a royal pain in the ***. Gloria in excelius, excelius Deo. Amen.

Perhaps you are being called to spend time with GOD, asking HIM this very question.

The question is a good one - don't settle for cheap answers.

If not for the grace of God we would all be dead....What sin god has allowed all sin including Hitler Manson and other mass murderers...If there were no grace we wold all be killed even you. the difference between men and sins are the difference God makes...all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God...believe it or not its not just the priest...to god we are all disgusting sinners..yet he sent his son to die that we might gain salvation and be changed there is a time of grace and there will be a time for judgment...I thank God we live under his grace many may be surprised on judgment day We should all work out our own salvation and be sure where we stand with God.

Because the evil doesn't come from religion or from God, it comes from man. I believe there is a higher power but that higher power is not directly involved with our everyday lives.
The problem is the "management" of the Catholic church hides these men and enables them to do evil over and over. Not until these "managers" realize that this is a crime and they need to stop the criminal will something be done to correct the atmosphere of secrecy. I believe God is wrecked by what he sees man do but he cannot stop it. He can only let us make our own mistakes and make our own way.

God gave us free will. It's contradictory in some of the answers and questions by non-Christians who, on one hand, say Christians are puppets; then, on the other hand, want to know why God isn't being more "hands on" with the world's situation.

You can't have it both ways. God gave humans free will. If we choose to commit sin, abortion--murder, rate--assault on children, live with men or women without being married, steal from people, steal from our employers, steal from our families, be lazy, not work, be heretical or cynical about our Lord and Savior----then that's our choice. Believe it or not, God was the first pro-choice entity....he actually created the theory Pro-Choice even before creation. Yes, free will is our choice.

We choose whether to kill children in abortions ---- that's murder, and we already have murder laws on the books. It's up to law enforcement and judges to get the courage to enforce the laws.

Rape and Assault on anyone---children or adult----It's free will---it's our choice to rape someone or assault someone. The priests are men--human beings, not Gods (as the Catholic church would like you to believe). They sin. They choose to sin, and they will have to deal with the consequences of those sins----along with their victims.

God (Jehovah, Yaweh, Al ah, whatever you name Him) is real, and Jesus was here, in the flesh, died, was buried, arose from the dead, and then ascended into heaven again and is seated at the right-hand of the father.

What choices you make as a human being---don't blame those on God.....If you choose to do the wrong thing, remember----God made you pro-choice. And you made it. People can't blame God because they inappropriate, dangerous, illegal, criminal, and depraved decisions.

there are a lot worse things than kiddie-fiddling that God allows to occur. I think it has to do with the fact that God had his toy (earth) and got bored with it and doesn't play with it anymore. I mean, when was the last time you heard about anything truly miraculous occurring (ala water walk, parting seas, stick turns to snake, etc)?

God has taken his ball and gone home. He probably made a better earth, that he still pays attention to, and still loves enough to prevent booty pirates from becoming priests.

They are definately Real and Alive in Heaven. We humans are given a free will .......otherwise we would be little robots.

Theres an Evil force we know as Satan and he is behind all evil. Satan will be Defeated at the end of time.....he's the Anti Christ and until the end of this world, he is the Enemy of God and Christians.

God and Jesus do not let anything happen. Human beings have free will they choose to do what they do. Every one is responsible for their own actions, God or no God.
