There is this school that is deluting and corrupting children by placing a cross on the wall in the hallway.

SO before I call the ACLU I decided to give the school a chance to remove the pagan symbol (cross) and they said it was religious freedom so I told them that I worship a 5 headed dragon and would like to place a symbol of this almighty dragon is the school hallway and they told me I couldnt.

Obviosly they have a double standard and for them to assume Christianity is the only religious symbol is frivolous .
I called the ACLU and they promised the cross will be removed ASAP because it is illegal.

If the school will let me place my 5 headed dragon up on the school walls then i wont have a problem with the cross on the wall. Fair is fair.

I gave the school untill next week to allow me to bring the 5 headed dragon to the school or this will end up in litigation. I thank god for the ACLU for standing up for my rights and the seperation of religion and state.

If it's a private school, they have the right to put up whatever religious symbol they see fit.

If it's a public school, go to the schoolboard first. Then start making phone calls to the ACLU, your congressperson, and anyone else who will listen. Newspapers eat that kind of stuff up.

I think you're just a little too passionate about the whole separation between church and state, though in theory I agree with you. Was the school public? If it was, then you're right. But if it is a private school, it has every right to do what it wants and display the cross. I do think you could be a bit more tolerant of other's beliefs though, as they do have every right to believe them just like you do.

Assuming you are talking about a public school, the best you can hope for is to get the cross removed. It sounds like you're taking the right approach already.

Sounds like you are causing trouble for the sake of causing trouble. Have you talked to your teacher? Principle? Parents? Just Because the ACLU is involved doesn't mean your going to sue and get rich.

I'm proud your standing up for yourself (if indeed you are a teenager) and I wish you all the luck in the world. Another thing you may want to do is "draw" or make a t-shirt of your dragon and wear it to school and see the response. Just don't make it "nasty" and you should be within your rights.

5 headed dragon? That's Tiamat. Make sure you get the head colors right... Black, Blue, Green, Red & White.

Get it wrong and Tiamat will burn, gas, freeze, zap and dissolve you.

Repent! Lest the real Dragon drag you, kicking and screaming, to his eternal Hell!

Well, if you brought the five headed dragon with you to class... I doubt anyone will argue with you... ya know.
