and how can you say he was a good man/teacher if you do not believe he was the Christ?
Because he clearly said that he was the Christ. SO you cannot only think one of those things(christ or good man/teacher)its either that or a madman.
Your Choice!

Hello Welcome,
Yes, yes, we can dedfy the fact that Jesus lived. I dedfy it. But it isn't important. You are asking what he was, the Jesus: a prophet, a madman, the Christ? Welcome, whether he lived or not he was the three of them. A prophet who said he would come back, and in the story, he did. A madman, because he did not behave like other men around him, yes. The Christ, also, a savior, because he did, save a lot of people --but that's a long, long conversation.
Welcome, if you really want to know, I think that our Jesus boy was just another Orpheus.
Every man, every woman is a song.

Sara.
Anyone can say he was a good teacher/man.
Most of us say our Mother was a good mother even though she has told lies. Father a good father even though he has done bad things. Im sure you think you are basically a good person even though you have your flaws.
More to the point, the bible writing is what SOMEONE ELSE says that Jesus said. I am inclined to enjoy reading his good advice without believing some of the other comments with regard to what he said.
Your thinking is flawed because you assume everyone believes what you believe, that the bible is a 100% true and complete book (whatever that is).
"...and how can you say he was a good man/teacher if you do not believe he was the Christ?"

Jesus Christ is the only true and living God sent down from heaven by His Father to die for the sins of the whole world. You must acknowledge that and ask Him to forgive, remove (cleanse) you from you sins and come into your heart (your life)to live for Him forever. He will show you how to live for Him in The Holy Bible. Receive Christ today without delay!

I believe Jesus Christ was the Messiah. Actually, I'm a strong christain, and I definantly believe that. If your confused, I think you should just try to read the bible . . . . if it doesn't work and doesn't make since or something . . . . I think you should just try to find Christ in you. I'm sure you've heard that before. But also, , , I just want you to know that Christ keeps his heart open for everyone . . . and doesn't leave one person out!

Actually you can absolutely deny the existence of christ since he never existed.
he was made up at the council of Nicea in 325 AD. Yep, over three centuries after his supposed "death".
He is and amalgam of two jewish brothers, Judas Khrestus and Rabbi Jesus. Judas led a revolt against Roman occupiers and was crucified, along with his army, for his crimes (sound familar?) his Brother, Rabbi Jesus, lived another 42 years after Judas died.
so you see that there never was a jesus, just an apotheosis of two brothers into one deity by men who lived centuries afterwards.
And the con game continues to this day...

Arguements like this over who Jesus was and how to believe in him or not have been causing or have caused more wars and strife in History than any other single issue. Yeah, unfortunately, for good, bad or indifferent he lived. It's unfortunate that Humanity still isn't ready for his teachings. NO HE WASN'T the Son of God, nor was he the SAVIOUR... HE WAS A GREAT TEACHER AHEAD OF HIS TIME EVEN IN THE PRESENT!

Jesus was a teacher and the son of God. No doubt abot it and if you want everlasting life( after this one) you better believe it too!
The bible says that few will enter the gates of heaven and judging from some of your answers you have gotten so far. I can certaintly see that is sooooooooo going to be true.
