The trinity is obviosly a HUGE hang up for Mohammed. He speaks against it countless times, condems christians for "assigning partners" with Allah ( God ).

He traveled through Jew as well as Chrsitian cities. He heard the trininty concept. Problem is, he couldnt read it for himself ( illeterate) so, he was getting mixed info from Jews and Christians.

Remember, at the time of Mohammed, his family were Pagans, worshiping Alilah, the moon God.

So, Im sure Jews and Christians were trying to convert him.

Sorry fella. I'm not Muslim, but believe in Jesus as the Son of ONE God. No three to it.

Tertullian invented the whole trinity formula around 200 AD, and the Roman Catholic Church embraced it officially about a century thereafter. NO TRINITY (not even the concept) was ever taught by the New Testament Church - and Jesus never said as much.

Jesus said he and the Father are one - GOD living in him by the shared Holy Spirit (God is Spirit, never was a man that he should lie- Bible says so).

Do you really think the Gentiles were found more worthy of God revealing a trinity self to over and above those he called friend? Moses never claimed such a ruse as a triune spirit and has always been understood that GOD IS ONE! and the Messiah would be a man (Jesus was a man).

Jesus you can say was the Ark of the New Covenant - a house not made by human hands.

Funny you aren't saying the same thing about the Jews...At any rate to answer you is simple...The Trinity...Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is with all due respect if it's what you believe in, a crock of crap. There is but ONE God (assuming there is one at all). Jesus was a man...great prophet and teacher...even Mohammad acknowledges that much...but NOT SON OF GOD. Holy Spirit is what you get when you allow your self to feel the power of the inner being/self (a good laugh often brings on the Holy Spirit). Yes Islam, like Judaism would exist today without the Trinity. The 10 Commandments specifically state that thou shalt not bring false God(s) before me...hmmmmm makes one think a bit more about equating Jesus with God doesn't it? Seems Christians do that and to Jews and Muslims thats blastphemy. Let's all just take a step back and LEARN about one another than gain RESPECT for one another's belief systems. Peace!

If Mohammed understood? They invented the Trinity, It is not in the Bible and does not appear in Christian Dogma until after the Muslims introduced it during their occupation of Europe in the middle ages

Muhammad (PBUH) understood the trinity doctrine. There is no God but God. If the "Christian" Churches understood the real essence of the divinity of Christ, there would have been no Crusades, no Da Vinci Code and no Al Qaeda.

NO>.Islam has no credentials...Mohammad rewrote the Bible and corrupted it to form the 'koran'. Did u wonder why muslims or even muslim scholars only research the koran and not the bible...they are afraid of the mistakes in the koran...if they research other religions they are exiled or killed....
