OMG! ive been asking that same queistion to all my friends for years! yeah and who created the dude that created god ? and it goes on , and on, and on like that!!!! and people say...we'll find out when we get to heaven...but who REALLY knows if there is a heaven or not? just because the "bible" says. how do we know everything in the bible is ACCURATE? or TRUE? We dont know...NO ONE KNOWS. but for some reason there are people out there who believe in somthing they cant see or prove. They just have "faith". What if everything we've come to name in life really has a different name? what if everything we believe is WRONG?

So you are asking did God have a beginning?
Ps. 90:2: “Before the mountains themselves were born, or you proceeded to bring forth as with labor pains the earth and the productive land, even from time indefinite to time indefinite you are God.”
Is that reasonable? Our minds cannot fully comprehend it. But that is not a sound reason for rejecting it. Consider examples: (1)Â Time. No one can point to a certain moment as the beginning of time. And it is a fact that, even though our lives end, time does not. We do not reject the idea of time because there are aspects of it that we do not fully comprehend. Rather, we regulate our lives by it. (2)Â Space. Astronomers find no beginning or end to space. The farther they probe into the universe, the more there is. They do not reject what the evidence shows; many refer to space as being infinite. The same principle applies to the existence of God.
Other examples: (1) Astronomers tell us that the heat of the sun at its core is 27,000,000 degrees Fahrenheit (15,000,000° C.). Do we reject that idea because we cannot fully comprehend such intense heat? (2) They tell us that the size of our Milky Way is so great that a beam of light traveling at over 186,000 miles per second (300,000 km/sec) would require 100,000 years to cross it. Do our minds really comprehend such a distance? Yet we accept it because scientific evidence supports it.
Which is more reasonable—that the universe is the product of a living, intelligent Creator? or that it must have arisen simply by chance from a nonliving source without intelligent direction? Some people choose this viewpoint because to believe otherwise would mean that they would have to acknowledge the existence of a Creator whose qualities they cannot fully comprehend. But it is well known that scientists do not fully comprehend the functioning of the genes that are within living cells and that determine how these cells will grow. Nor do they fully understand the functioning of the human brain. Yet, who would deny that these exist? Should we really expect to understand everything about a Person who is so great that he could bring into existence the universe, with all its intricate design and stupendous size?

Even if you believe in evolution you must agree that the universe had to have a beginning. You must ask yourself where did all the material come from to make up all the planets and stars and sun. Where did the dirt, water, minerals, gases, etc. come from? What cause that sudden bang all of a sudden after trillions of years of nothing? What got everything started and why?
Answer has to be intelligent design. God was not created. God had no beginning nor has no end.

God did not come from anywhere, nor was He preceded by anything. To those who believe, God is the First Cause. He is the Author of everything including time. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. He has always existed. Outside of God nothing exists or existed.
To those who do not believe, no explanation will do.

Before time began there was no heaven, no earth and no space between. A vast dark ocean washed upon the shores of nothingness and licked the edges of night. A giant cobra floated on the waters. Asleep within its endless coils lay the Lord Vishnu. He was watched over by the mighty serpent. Everything was so peaceful and silent that Vishnu slept undisturbed by dreams or motion.
From the depths a humming sound began to tremble, Om. It grew and spread, filling the emptiness and throbbing with energy. The night had ended. Vishnu awoke. As the dawn began to break, from Vishnu's navel grew a magnificent lotus flower. In the middle of the blossom sat Vishnu's servant, Brahma. He awaited the Lord's command.
Vishnu spoke to his servant: 'It is time to begin.' Brahma bowed. Vishnu commanded: 'Create the world.'
A wind swept up the waters. Vishnu and the serpent vanished. Brahma remained in the lotus flower, floating and tossing on the sea. He lifted up his arms and calmed the wind and the ocean. Then Brahma split the lotus flower into three. He stretched one part into the heavens. He made another part into the earth. With the third part of the flower he created the skies.
The earth was bare. Brahma set to work. He created grass, flowers, trees and plants of all kinds. To these he gave feeling. Next he created the animals and the insects to live on the land. He made birds to fly in the air and many fish to swim in the sea. To all these creatures, he gave the senses of touch and smell. He gave them power to see, hear and move.
The world was soon bristling with life and the air was filled with the sounds of Brahma's creation.

"God" is a simple way of convincing others to follow the laws of nature, which science very recently has proven was true all along, for example:
1. Opposites attract (good is tempted to do evil and evil is tempted to corrupt good)
2. Men are less emotional than women
3. Men are more stronger than woman
4. Women are emotional to keep balance with the lack of emotionalism among men.
5. Lack of natural behavior among men and women cause them to have so much stress.
6. People that live simple village life have better immune systems because they are in touch with nature and people of the towns and cities don't because they are out of touch with nature, with their artificial lives of luxury which can't last too long because either they will pollute the world to excess or kill each other over raw materials in the name of religion, race, nation, etc.
7. Listening to other peoples conversation, lying, stealing, and etc. lead us to feel guilty and confused and not able to concentrate, and the use of caffeine and other drugs over-stimulates that we get hyper-tension.
8. Women should cover their bodies in public, and they don't in modern society that is why they are abused so much and not valued as mother figures but instead as sex objects or workers.

Hindu's used to say the earth was supported by a giant elephant. If you asked what supported the elephant, you were told it stood on a giant tortoise. If you asked what the tortoise stood on they would respond, "let's change the subject".
Unless you're willing to accept turtles all the way down, you have to accept that something was not created. Perhaps the earth does not sit on any animal at all.

Don't be silly! There has to be a god because every complicated thing *has* to have a designer! Oh, except god of course. He's the most complicated thing of all, so he doesn't have to have a designer. What? I invalidated my own argument, you say?! Feh! Ya bastard, you just don't understand. Get rid of all that pesky logic and consideration about the world around you, and you'll see.

First of all God does exist and yes He did create all things. Where He came from we don't know He always was. Something we don't need to know but one day when I get to heaven I will ask.
