Okay this is about abortion, don't get your panties in a twist.?

If I remember sunday school right when Mary was pregnant the people of the town wanted to stone her but Joseph saved her.

Wouldn't this have been like a form of abortion? Did these people not see it as abortion?

I am assuming that abortion was bad back then.

I used to visit Yahoo Questions/Réponses in France because I live in France. Most of the people don't believe in God in France. they are atheists.Why American people believe in God? How can we learn French people to believe in God?

How do you know when God speaks to you. Do you literally hear his voice or do dream him or what?

I have never heard the voice of God, but my life is happy and I feel fulfilled. I think I make good decisions, but I do know if God is at work here. How do I know?

Does God have anything to say at all about trashing the planet and spilling human toxic waste?

Destroying everything in it's path? does Jesus care about the rain forest or does he rather want consumer wood products instead of animals and forest? What would Jesus do about massive oil spills and other man made disasters which destroy everything in it's wake? Would Jesus want us to make so many different species extinct so soon? hmm?

Being a Muslim answers all these questions- Islam is a source of ultimate truth for me?

In Islam we beclare that there is none worthy of worship besides Allah and Mohammed (s.a.w) is his messenger. i Now see that islam is perfect and can answer questions that christainity cannot.

If Jesus is the son of god - why dont people worship god instead after all he did create Jesus?

Why did Jesus ask GOD to forgive humans..... shouldnt we also pray to god not him.
If jesus was a prophet sent by god why do people worship him?
Why would God let his "son" or even a prophet be put through anything physically harsh, physical harship cannot surly mean anything to god .. he is God.
How can Jesus be God- the son of god- and a prophet ,human all at the same time?

All power that Jesus had , wasnt it given to him by God?

How do we (Christians) receive the "rest" Jesus promises in Matthew 11:28?

for the weary and burdened. I've tried just praying "Lord take this weight from me. I give it all to you." When I pray I expect him to do it like it says in the book of James, but my burdens never get lighter.

What do you like best about your religion/faith?

I'm a member of the church of Christ and my favorite thing about my faith is that we strive to follow the Bible as closely as we can - doing things like Christ and the apostles did about 2,000 years ago! :) So what do you like the most about your faith/religion?
