Christians have always hated jews. Paul hated jews because James (Jesus' brother and appointed succesor) didn't support his mission to the gentiles. Hence we get the ridiculous blood curse in the Gospels, and many other nuggets of anti-sematism.

Things were OK for many years until the first crusade. In their fervor to go and drive the heathens out of the holy land, they decided to get warmed up killing all the other heathens on the way, wiping out jewish enclaves along the way. Hatred of jew continued to gradually grow until it climaxed in the Porgoms of Russia and the Holocost.

Antisemetism in the Muslim world is a relatively new thing. Jews and Muslims lived side by side for over a thousand years. The Muslim world was always very tolerant of Jews and Christians (other "people of the book"). Antisemetism wasn't really a big thing until the Zionist movement started trying to drive the Palestinians away and form a Jewish theocracy. Most muslims today do not blame Jews but blame Zionism. Even many of the militant groups have said that they would be happy to live side by side with Jews, but as equals, not as the lower class in an apartied state. And then there are some Muslim leaders calling to drive the Jews into the sea.

Karen Armstrong addresses these issues very well in her book, "Holy War: The Crusades and Their Impact on Today's World." It tries (and succeeds) to look at the conflict from all three sides and draws parallels with today's religious intolerance and the Palestinian problem. Another very, very, very good book by Armstrong.

First of all, I'm against anti-semitism and I don't think any of the anti-semites justifications for their hate are worthwhile. But you asked why some people are against Jews. The reasons include perceived Jewish control of Hollywood, the feeling that the Iraq war is a war for Israel, a belief that there are too many Jews in high up political positions and out of context Talmud quotes that give the impression that Jews hate Christians.

As a Christian, however, I believe this is the most important fact concerning the Jews: God "will bless those who bless the Jews and curse whoever curses the Jews." (Genesis 12:3)

No Christian is against Jews. If it were not for Christians there would be no Israel. There may be some"who claim to be Christian" or have claimed it in the past who don't like Jews. But all born again followers of Jesus the Christ loves Israel and the Jews. Muslims do hate you because you are the chosen people and they are not.

You tell me! Why are some Christians and Jews against Muslims?

You have noticed that there are people on this site who are against Christians and Muslims? Well, why should you be different unless you want to be discriminated against?

Don't know. I don't hate Jews and I'm a Christian. Christians are supposed to love everyone, even those who don't have the same beliefs. I think many Christians forget this. I don't know about the Muslims though.

just my opinion but. I dislike the israeli jews in the goverment because they victimize innocent people (no doubt so do the palestians but they consider this war, not a terrorist act) They also clothe themselves in the idea that they are the chosen people. The chosen people dont exist anymore. But again thats my opinion. I dont like arrogance that sometimes prevails among Jews because of victimization. BTW Im half jewish myself. I will say I like the militant Zionists, because at least they do something.I DO NOT HATE JEWS!

oh and im not christian or muslim. im currently agnostic

I am a christian and for one do not hate Jews. Jesus was a Jew but Jewish people don't seem to see that He is the messiah. I am scared for both muslims and jews because neither see that Jesus is the way to God and that God won't have mercy on them during the 2nd coming.

Is this the only type of question you ask? You need to get a life and stop feeling sorry for yourself for being "hated." Muslims and Christians are persecuted as well, so really stop acting like a victim. If you had any pride for being Jewish anyway you wouldn't let people get to you.
