I'm a member of the church of Christ also. I like the fact that all the answers to everything spiritual can be found in the Bible. The Bible doesn't require human interpretation, does not need to be "updated" to reflect contemporary human thought and culture, and it's lessons are timeless. Those lessons may be uncomfortable and "unfair" for some, but are true none the less. It's very comforting to know the inspired word of God is there as a guide to life and a way of life to aspire to......and even more comforting to know that even though I am human and will fail despite my best attempts, that through Christ's sacrifice I will be redeemed.

I grew up a Baptist all my life, but wanted to know more about the BIble and why we went to church on Sunday and why we tithem etc... So, I started my own Bible research, just before I got out of the military. When I did , I was confronted w/ some myths and lies that we all have been living all our lives, in almost every faith. 1. Concerning the Sabbath of the Lord- which was & still is Saturday; & will be in Heaven. 2. The sanctuary was built to resemble the placement of Jesus on the Cross. 3. We tithe not to make the ministers, preachers, etc... rich, but because God said so, and the people of the cloth should be giving the same salary across the board, no matter how big or small their church is and the rest to to be used to farther the 3 Angels Message. 4. The Bible says that the dead are dead and they know nothing and cann't come back to haunt to talk w/ us and that it is the demons or satan who is coming back & tricking people. 5. That the Mark of the Beast is not what everyone thinks it is- it's refusal to follow God's Laws and stick w/ traditions and lies; because it's easier to follow the crowd, then follow the Lord. 5. True, we are under "grace" but, that doesn't mean that we are to disobey God's Laws, cause that's what everyone else is doing.
So, to wrap it all up in a nut shell- I'm a 7thDay Adventist, because, they follow ALL 10 Commandments and they are healthy, and they truly help everyone, kinda like the way Mother Tereasa. We're not a cult as every1 says told me, we don't give our money to 1 person, nor live together in a small little community, we love the Lord, we worship only the triune-God, Son, &Holy Spirit. There has been health studies done on our faith and we eat what the Bible says we should eat. Anyone interested check us out on sda.org, simplybiblical. com,amazingfacts.org, cyberspaceministry.com. and sabbathtruth.com.
The Lord said that we perish due to lack of knowledge. Don't be one of those, please, study and read, you'll be amazed. And no- we don't worship Ellen G. White, but we do agree w/ her books. My favorites are The Desire of Ages & The Great Controversy & Steps to Christ. You can also read her books online at her website.

Because it's true! I'm a born-again Christian. Everyone needs to read John 3:3-6 and Ephesians 2:8-9

Having had the spiritual experiences that I had as a Christian. After having some of these, there's nothing on earth that can tell me that there's no God or no Heaven. So that's my point, I like it most since I'm sure I'm going to heaven!
All of us are sinners, but if you believe that Jesus died and rose again for our sins and sickness, you'll also have this kind of freedom.

What I like about Christianity is the fact that there is only one god and not millions of gods that the Egyptians and Romans followed.
you can also talk to the Heavenly father thru a relationship with Him........every other religion is based on the idea of following Mohamed, or the dolly llama ...etc...

In my faith (Inctercontinental Neo-thinkicism) my favorite part is in the scroll of Tannes. "He thought with his mind, for the power affected the fabric of his thoughts, and the fabric of the thoughts around him. Soon the mood turned and the moon grew a deep purple. Much love was made."
Thats the best part.

Well the Taoist faith has really helped me in my life, i have found inner peace, and i am working towards that inner peace, and to contribute myself to the Tao, which is the way, so in a way i am just becoming one with the tao, which is in evrything, and is above evrything else, so in the end, i like how Taoism teaches about peace, and good mental and physical health.

My own faith, in doing good for others and myself...I don't go to church or worship the same god everyone does. And if there's a heaven, I hope whatever redeeming qualities I've done in my lifetime, the person will forgive me for not believing in him...

I am an apostolic pentecostal and the most important thing about my religion is that i know Jesus Christ is coming back for me, and that i will one day live with him in Heaven.

Isn't Church of Christ the religion that teaches that if you aren't baptized by full immersion you're going directly to hell?
I'm a Reincarnationist. Born again and again and again and again. My "religion", imo, is the only one that doesn't insult 'God'.
