Hmmmm, Jesus hung out with all guys and never had an "affair"...I don't think it's a sin; we're all sexual beings! Oh, and also remember....the Bible wasn't written by GOD/JESUS; it was written and rewritten many times over by....guess who....a bunch of guys! Average Joe's who over the 2000 years or so that it first started, probably just wrote what they felt was "right";

There are 610 commandments not 10 and there is no such thing as seven deadly sins because all sins are deadly. Sins are not catagorized in the bible. There is no sin worse than the other except for blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

Because it is listed as an abomination. But so is eating Pork... Touching anything that's dead (there goes the leather products). I believe it also has something against mixing fabrics. (The entire Disco Era is going to hell). They will tell you that all these other "laws" are done away with. And I'm sure they will point out that homosexuality is listed in the new test. But I believe it's also listed with liars, murderers, etc. which is in the 10 Commandments... BUT, everyone sins... if you break one, you break them all. So when they throw that out, I usually think of homosexuality being equal to all other sins. So when they lie, it's the same as performing a homosexual act. Seeing as God sees all sin the same.

Ain't a real ***** when someone shows the measure of how one judges?

Not all sins are mentioned in the Ten Commandments. But the Bible says that all sins are the same in God's eyes. That means that cussing is just as bad as murdering an innocent person or raping a young child. And homosexuality is a sin. The Bible says that it is an abomination.

Thats a great question! Im not sure how you answer that though..there are alot of little rules throughout the bible besides the 10 commandments and such. I would just look at it like this. If it is true that only god judges, then do what you think is right and wait for judgement i guess

The book of Romans does not state it is a major sin. It does state though since mankind decides to turn away from God, the he will allow each of them to do what they want with their bodies. That includes defiling and doing things not of God. Essentially God will back off and allow you to have that "freedom". That freedom will allow for every perversion that God does not approve of and therefore, allow you to die and be left empty to your own devices. (It is a choice)

There are two places which it states if you do the things of the world you will be punished with death.

Now, the only MAJOR SIN - Unpardonable, is Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit - If this is done you will go DIRECTLY to hell without ever being forgiven there is no possible way to obtain God's grace or forgiveness. This is the only way in which God completely turns away from you.

So let me go back to something, as men and women we all have issues with sexual immorality and we all need help.

Lastly, depending upon who you are and what you believe the commandments go exactly like the following:

613 commandments to 10 commandments to 2 commandments. The 2 encompass all 623 commandments sent to us from God.

It is a sin because God said it is a sin. God would not call anything sin if it were not possible to choose to do it. For example it is not a sin to be short or tall or Irish or French etc., because no choice is involved. God calls homosexuality a sin because it is a choice. People are not born that way , it is a choice.

Read Romans ch 1, v 18-32. Homosexuality is a curse for rejecting God. When God gives up on you, sin takes over.

Yes it is a major sin. but you know what else is not part of the 10 commandemts is THO SHALL NOT BEAR WITNESS TO FALSE GODS. (poor poor Christians)

yeah i think thats pretty important and yet its missing. it is not the gays whom God hates but their submission to their own desire. And the fact men and women were created for each other to help hold and honour ... homosexuality messes up reproduction if everyone was a gay than the human population would no longer grow.

God gave us free will right? So why would he give us free will, then damn us for the choices we make? Homosexuality is not a sin. It's sad to hear about people who live in fear of God. He loves us for who we are.

First of all, dont listen to these christians, they will only give you a christian answer, it really depends on what faith youre talking about, like taoism, catholicism, muslim, etc. But really no, if not looking at a religious point of view, in a natural way, it is normal for some people to be attracted to the same sex and isnt wrong, the christian faith will say thats its a sin, but there are heterosexual sins they commit, like adultry, but they never say that was wrong! so like i said it really depends on what faith you look at it, but in the end, you are one to judge, not anyone else.
