In Isaiah 9:6-7, it says, Unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given. And what is the name of this son? The "Mighty God" in the next verse.
JESUS CHRIST IS: "THE GOD ALMIGHTY"
Isaiah vs 6:
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

We worship God and Christ bu t you must remember that constaintine who was supposedly a "christian " ruler changed the sabbath from saturday to sunday. No matter what anyone sayd Christianity doesn't change people can make other beliefs and add verses to the Bible but no matter what happens the Bible is the only true way. Because jesus is god's son adn His power did come from His father. God let his Son go throught hat phisical pain there needed to be a perfect sacrifice that would redeem all humans from their sins. And since Jesus had never commited any sin and was sent by God he was the perfect sacrifice. Jesus isn't God he is God's Son, but hey are not one being that has been and to many so called Christian churches but ify ou look at the Bible you will find out that it isn't true. Jesus was a prophet because God gave Him the power to see what was going to happen and he knew what was going to come to pass. And yes all the power that was given to Jesus was from God. many times people start to be lead down the wrong path because they will believe whatever someone tells them you have to look in God's word to know the abselout truth and you can not just read one book you have to look at from many aspests you can not just read the corron because of course everything is going to make sense why would one book contradict itself that makes no sense but if you read the bible then you will see how everything that was prophised came true and they are still coming true to this day.

In response to Panaca's link, please see the link I am posting and has already been answered by my other Muslim brothers.
Answer to your first question:
God Almighty forbids us to consider anything from his creation as god hence we can get rid of the idea of idol-ism no matter it's a man, sun or money.
The term "Son of God" in Bible has been used for not just the prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) but also many other prophets of God Almighty. If you ask any Christian with common knowledge of Bible, he or she will tell you that it means spiritual son of God, not the physical son of God. Means they are the creation of God Almighty, who carry the message of God Almighty.
Answer to question 2:
The worship also means "to adore" and in Bible, there are many places where you can find the word "worship" was used in the context of adoring someone. Why do some Christian brothers and sisters worship as God? Can't tell you why they read the Bible in plain and simple English and do the opposite.
The reason why Jesus asked for the forgiveness for the people was because we are closer to God Almighty as the Bible says "A man APPROVED by God".
Just like you would rather have a nurse to take care your cut if there is no doctor around than a bum covered in dust.
Answer to your question 3:
First we have to understand that God sent prophets to those who living in Dark ages (eg: cheating, rapping, stealing, killing of infants) and like any situation, when one questions a majority, he/she does receive harsh behavior. But at the same time, people who think with their mind realize what is right and what is wrong. God sent the revelations to those people and those people either took them literary or ignored it so is a better way to bring people back to the right path than sending a person their own community to tell them what is right and what is wrong, no wonder Jesus was called a "Teacher" by many of his disciples.
The powers given to Jesus were to show people of that time he was not a crook and was meant to those people.
Let's examine his miracles with other prophets in Bible.
Born without a father? Eve was born without mother, Adam was born without a father OR mother. There is also a story about a king in Bible (I forgot his name) who also had no father or no mother and also had no beginning or end.
Brought dead to live? How about Moses who made his stick into a snake? Not only he brought life to a thing that was never alive but also he changed the form of that stick.
Hope this answers most if not all of your questions.

No one is worthy of Worship except God. Mohammad (saw) is only his messenger. We do not worship the messenger. Although he is our teacher and God's perfect worshipper.
Mohammad (saw) did not speak the Satanic verses. Maybe you should read the Quran before you read an anti-quran and anti-islam website. Don't be stupid. if you want to learn about Islam go to Muslims to Mosques to Professors who study this religion. Not to websites or your local preist.
I wouldn't go to an athesit or non christian to learn about Christianity. And yes there is no question Islam can not anwser about religion or life by just useing the quran. But the bible you see is only reminsences none of them were directly coming from Jesus himself. for the people never wrote down the words of jesus when he was around. They tried desperately after he left to remember and forge the bible.
Oh and btw Allah is not just a name it is God in Arabic. In fact Arab Christians or Jews refer to God as Allah also. So don't be pathetic thinking you know so much about a religion and a language.

If Mohammad spoke the satanic verses, how can he be a true prophet? True prophets are protected by God. Only false prophets can be possessed by satan. Who is to say that possession ever ended? Certainly, Mohammad engaged in acts of incredible evil and depravity for his entire life after his possession. That is exactly the sort of thing a man possessed by satan would do. For that matter, the entire history of Islam is nothing more than one evil act after another. That is the hallmark of a satanic religion, not one that worships God. The situation continues to this day. Also, the Quran is filled with hateful verses that demand death and evil of muslims under penalty of death. Aren't those obviously satanic verses as well. What does that say about the nature of the Quran? Note that no muslim scholar disputes anything I have said here. I'm not the one saying these things. It is ever single authority in Islam that says these things. Be very careful about disagreeing. Heresy is punished with death in Islam.
Why are you a muslim if Muhammad spoke the satanic verses? Don't you understand that makes you evil?

Religion is driven by man, God had it written, but man has interpreted it; It is a good thing to base a good structure of life, meaning keeping out of trouble, not harming others, teaching manners, etc. However, it is still written by man.
I pray directly to God, I thank him for Jesus and Alla, but he is the boss. Some questions are left unanswered so we can go forward. If we had all of the answers, life would not be worth living now would it. When someone feels that they have all of the answers they end up doing things recommend by other humans... ie the terrorist actions happening on earth today. God put us here with free will for a reason, learn right from wrong, love other humans as one loves themselves.
God wants us to care for others as he cares for us.
be at peace my friend.

The following is what Prophet Jesus himself said. It is clear enough that he is not Omnipotent:
1. Jesus does not know of the Day of Judgment:
Matt 24:36 But of that day and hour no man know, not the angels which are in heaven, nor the son, but only the father.
2. Jesus does not have unlimited access to God's knowledge:
Mark 5: 25-32 When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, because she thought, If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed. Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering. At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, Who touched my clothes? But Jesus kept looking around to see who had done it.
3. Jesus himself acknowledges that the Father is greater than himself and how he does not have the ability to access his father's resources:
Jon 14:28 My father is greater than I.
4. The following verses further prove how Jesus is unable to tap into all the powers of God:
Luke 6:12 One day Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray and spent the night praying to God.
Hebrews 5:7 During Jesus days on earth, he offered prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him?
Matt 27:46 My God My God why hast thou forsaken me? Furthermore, if Jesus were God than why does he not say in this verse, Myself, Myself, why hast I forsaken Myself? Would not this be complete nonsense?

There is not a single religion in the world that will tell you that it cannot answer your questions.
There is no religion that would say that it cannot give you utimate peace and happiness.
There is not a single religion that would call itself false.
And let me also remind you that religions have been around ever since the dawn of civilization! Making the same claims and promises.

Of course you're right. Islam is the best thing, Islam brings me everything, Allah brings me all that I need. Only Him can judge me.
Islam…Why?
1. Islam is the religion chosen by Allah for all humanity.
2. Islam is the religion of all Prophets from Adam to Muhammad (peace be upon them all.)
3. Islam is the religion delivered by all Messengers of Allah and it is the seal of all heavenly revelations.
4. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the last of the Prophets and Messengers.
5. And…because The Qur'an is the last of Allah's divine scriptures.
Allah (Glory be to Him) says: "Do they seek other than the religion of Allah, while to Him submitted all creatures in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly. And to Him shall they all be returned." (Holy Qur'an; 3:83)
"And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers." (Holy Qur'an; 3:85)
Islam... for Whom?
1. For every person upon whom Allah has bestowed life and intellect.
2. For those who can see the blessings of Allah.
3. For those who can hear the words of Allah (i.e. The Qur'an).
4. For those who can comprehend the signs of Allah.
5. For those whose hearts are full of love and gratitude to Allah.
6. And… for you, for me, and for those whose blessed hearts are open to faith.
Islam ... When?
1. Now and forever.
2. Obey your heart's call to faith.
3. It is your life chance for success.
4. A golden opportunity that might not strike your heart again.
5. Answer Allah's call. He summons you.
"And your God is one God, submit to Him alone (in Islam,) and give the good news to those who humble themselves (for Allah)." (Holy Qur'an; 22:34)
